Next to Serendipity it's one of my most commonly used character names (though Serendipity is for bards only). Telcontar always pops up as one of my SW "legacy" names, I've got a few generations of them scattered through various RP games. I'm always pleased when someone recognizes it though, strangely it tends to slip past a lot of my gaming buddies. Ooh, the wonderous apostrophe! Shoves a few very old DnD characters under the table only to see ch'Havran crawl back out and nyah at me... if I recall, I think that one was a Romulan word... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wow, somebody like-minded. You wouldn't also happen to have a tradition of using most of character creation time to come up with a good name? So long that everyone else becomes annyoed.

I never played the fourth one, but in Tag Tournament Lei was sometimes quite unbeatable. Is it so in here too?

Nah, I've been fed full of them, would be more apt. If I come across a good, well-written and de-munchkinised high-magic world; I may like. My preference is low-magic worlds however.

Then again; I wouldn't have minded the option to take NPC's with me. There were some interesting characters; like that druid Nathan.

IWD's focal point being tactical group battles; crafting your own party from the get go made the game a lot more accesible.

Imagine how thin the story would be. Or how long would the game be in development.

Good catch! I'm not crazy, really, I just would get a kick out of it of Obsidian decided to include one of gaming's more famous "running gags" into the game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I still remember being totally dumbfounded when I found it from the secret areas on "Satan's Dark Delight" in Quake.
