  1. So that means all of you nutjobs are in my mind, which just happens to be jodo's?

^ Considering everything that happened, my friends b-day an all, I should have a hangover right now. Weird. Well, anyway. The scandinavian X-men run just finished with New X-men and Wolverine: The End-side series is just about to end, so we're going to get Astonishing here next, starting with about three issues of Joss Whedon's run. The powers that be decided, thank god, to skip most of the works of that that shall not be named, so we won't get Uncanny here for a while. I'm willing to bet that the side series changes to either Weapon X or Xtreme X-men next. So, is Whedon any good when it comes to writing comics?
  3. ^I'm willing to argue that it's either Kaftan or pixies.
  4. Go munch some krypto, Flatus. The trailer could have been so much better.
  5. Mafia was the spetznaz. Or was that the shiznit? Whatever, it rocked. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Whatever the word, it sure did. I'm quite sure they're making a sequel, or a spiritual succesor.
  6. ^That's a good cover. I'm listening to a test version of Oblivion title theme.
  7. It was okay. Which isn't necessarily a good thing from a movie so eagerly awaited.
  8. Hmmm...well, thanks anyway.
  9. Nope. The definition of abandonware is that the game in question is no longer sold in any way or form.
  10. ^All too true. Myself, I can enjoy great games several times; like Mafia or Outcast.
  11. Almost anything from Rare(or Free Radical Design) was amazing. Yes, even Timesplitters 2.
  12. reading comprehension -1
  13. I'm in need of help from all of you literate folks. I'm sort of a history freak and one of my favorite subjects is Moorian Spain, the califate therein and spanish reconquista which happened in the 14th century. The contrast of differing religions and culture, the rich blend of architecture and science that wasn't "discovered" by Northern Europe until renaissance. In short; the whole era just excites and intrigues me to no end. Now, my question is; apart from El Cid, are there any works of fiction(books or not) that happen to be placed during that phase of history? I'd appreciate any information on the subject.
  14. I'd prefer if you just stayed in single player games when it comes to designing, Kaftan :D
  15. I played Tenchu 3 on PS2 and yes, it's rather though, but only if you aim for perfection. Most levels can be practically ran through, the enemies are that clumsy.
  16. Yes. Honestly.
  17. Influence lost here too. If just you had used something like Trigun's ending or Robin as a reference, but nooo...it's DBZ. I understand your point though. And sorta agree, as cutscenes could very well go over the line of sanity in terms of how flashy and showy they are. I mean, Battle Meditation? Enhancing entire space fleets with mere thoughts? It should look epic. But as for normal combat, no. Down to the earth, realistic feel, with good damage model. That's the way to go.
  18. I'm still playing around with the thought of self-sacrifice. Tragic heroes rule.
  19. I wouldn't say the best game, but up there in top-15, yes.
  20. My post had nothing to do with yours, it just happened to be after yours.
  21. Not heard of them? Well, this might be the time to remedy that. Seriously, even though Kristine has a great voice, Leaves Eyes is very bland. Opeth - Beneath the Mire
