To get a prestige class you have to be lvl 15 and maxed out alignment, then just talk to Kreia and she should initiate the change. I got prestige class on my first planet and unlike some people have said you don't need to have Visas in your party to get P-class.

There seems to be some issues in what actually is the whole beginning of TSL. I iniatiated this poll with Peragus vs. Taris because IMO they are planets so they should be treated as the beginning. So the question for this poll is more specifically "Which is better opening PLANET, Peragus or Taris?" I guess you could say Telos is the Taris of TSL, but one has to remember that TSL is not the K1. So naturally Obsidian tried to make a different approach to the game. Otherwise TSL would have been the same with new name. Also the storyline develops differently in TSL, it's like a steady flow of info, while KotOR had that only one big plot turnover, the sith lords seems to be evolving the whole time. My weaponmaster is now on Nar Shaddaa (second pick, Onderon was first) and so far I've loved the game and am looking forward to see more.

Well if you got the lightsaber right from the start it would be just a weapon then, you need to build the anticipation, that's why we've got these beginnings.

Well there are atleast 2 possible answers: 1. KotOR is somewhat better, atleast in overall opinion. 2. Everybody has created a sort of protective barrier around K1, cos it's just Kotor. And gets therefore those needed extra votes, just because it's the legendary one. I think it might be a bit of both.

you do know you can break down those extra energy shields into components right? if you need more components, id suggest breaking down those extra items you have and dont use. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know, it's just that you get 1 component/shield (or any other basic stuff), it's waste of time.

Yeah, I'm playing european xbox version and counting out couple of framerate slowdowns, I have yet to see a single bug in this game.

You said it yourself. While Taris had the nice Star Wars feel to it with roam free and everything, i liked Peragus more. Almost alone and being hunted. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I hear ya, although the Hunted part is a bit weak until , IMO.

My vote goes for Taris. I liked the free roaming more then the linear mining facility. Well Peragus isn't bad either, it is just a different approach. What do you think? And let's not SPOIL those who don't yet have the game.

Now past Peragus, found it rather dull, but seems to be opening on Telos. I should've also picked demo, I left 2 containers and 2 doors unopened in Peragus because my dude couldn't place a mine in them. Also workbench/lab station doesn't work, too little parts, too much cost to build (for example an advanced medpack costs 40 components and I've got around 70 in total). Hopefully you'll start getting more components from the better equipment. And I do have way too much energy shields. There's not much to be said about plot, hasn't really taken off yet, but like I said seems to be opening up now. Lightsaber hype is getting really bumbed, which is good. Influence system is a great idea, you actually have to think every reply through carefully, especially with Kreia. Combats are easy even on difficult. Force scream really kicks ass. Game has been good so far, though I expect it to get a lot better.

IMO the beginning is not as good as in K1, I liked the free roaming of taris better. This is still good, Kreia has some major charisma and the was hilarious. I've just finished my first 5 hour stint and I'm nearing the end of Peragus clearly. So far everythings been a satisfactory, although the framerate got pretty low a couple of times. And I'm not sure if it's the random loot gen, but I have 2 heavy armors and no one who can use them, it's pretty funny. Plot shows clearly some potential, I'm looking forward to seeing Sion. Good game so far. +++ Robes are cool
