  1. Thats because you cant really conceptualise what 35 times more powerful actually is. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's because there are a lot of tricks you can use to make a game look much better than another using the exact same hardware. Do you really need 35 times the power of the PS2 to get sub surface scattering? Gears of war is a good example with it's normal maps they make a model made up of a couple k look like a 60k model. It was easier in the days when you just count the sprites but now it's harder to say a game won't look good(unless we're running the thing on a voodoo) running on such and such system. How much of it is the sheer power of the hardware how much of it is the nifty engine and how much is the artist?
  2. Damn straight I am.
  3. That's what I had in mind too.
  4. If I can picture it in my head at five in the morning with no sleep they can do it given enough time and drive. There
  5. I like games you can play with a straw, while reading a good book.
  6. I don't, That sounds good but I'm not sure that's 35 times as good as current systems. I can't lose in this position anyway, darn this hardware is more impressive than I thought it could be?
  7. Belive my friend. It's a safer bet than the PS3 pushing 35,000 poly models. Image Heavy
  8. Hmm I showed the numbers for the PS3 to a friend of mine that knows more about that crap than I do and he called it bullhockey literally seconds after i sent it. We'll have to wait and see though I don't trust anything nintendo says untill I see it on the shelf as they are masters of vaperware.
  9. I don't know the specs on the systems(give me a link if you have one handy) but there are ways to get games to run on just about anything.
  10. Somehow incestuous keeps popping into my heads when I think about this. I didn
  11. Well, I buy all my games as I see it as encouraging the creation of more of the types of games I like.
  12. I play UT2k4 a lot more as I can play it at the drop of a hat. It a better experience for me the player and that's all I'm concerned about.
  13. Just because you can't personally confront the sithlords yourself doesn't mean you wouldn't be the focus of the game(as the camera would follow you around) and remember I never said to get rid of the option of being a juggernaut I said give more options to the player(never a bad thing IMO). If you want to be mace windu that's fine, but if I get what I want it you could play the game using any class you want and the game would adapt by not giving you dragon slayer quests. Make it a RPG and not a hack and slash with stats. Now stop arguing with me and post your own ideas, they probably won't do anything I want anyway.
  14. It all depends on how it's written. I did post this earlier.
  15. Not really the place to ask this question.
  16. You can help the Jedi or the Sith(don't make me whip out Han Solo again). There have been two wars in recent memory and the number of Jedi and Sith running around should be pretty damn low, maybe as low as the OT. You could almost count the force sensitives in that on one hand and it was a pretty good story about Sith and Jedi where you care about more than just the super powered guys and everybody mattered.
  17. You miss my point, I'm talking about Kotor 3(and no, I'm not talking about SWG), not Revan or the Exile, you're someone new and it's completely up to you who that is. I want this one to be about Jedi and Sith as well but you can play the important role in the game without being the man or gal with the force. You'd have to be pulled into the center of the story(something as far as I know doesn't happen in SWG). And more importantly you affect the story in different ways depending on your class and abilities. And it's not like I want to get rid of force classes I want them trust me, I just want as many options as possible. I want to play through as my force adept as well as my evil Twilek Tech Specialist or her slave/guinea pig cyborg with the awesome piloting skills, Oh yeah I'd also like to play as an alien so I can go around being hated for something other than being a Jedi It
  18. Ah but you don't have to be the Jedi. How important was Han Solo? And he had not a jot of force sensitivity. Plus it's sometimes more heroic to face challenges when you can't pull a star out of orbit with your mind.
  19. I have MoO 2, there's some twitch skills involved so I'd rather be playing Star Control.
  20. Who is Elena? :"> <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  21. A DM should always be the smartest guy in the room.
  22. I feel compelled to say my favorite character is Elena who finally beat out Blanka after all these years with her use of kicks alone and her insanely long legs.
  23. Tyson never made and crazy lunges like Balrog(M.bison in japan) does, or that silly little hop. Bruce Lee never did a silly flaming kick straight up in the air like temperamental little Fei Long anyway, my favorite Bruce clone is the Law's from Tekken. Anyway I can beat any SF2 character with any SF2 character.
  24. Just had a great idea! Starting locations/classes. Depending on the combination you get introduced to the game and the main story(which would actually creep up on you hopefully) in different ways. Just oodles and oodles of branching storylines that you directly and indirectly affect.
  25. Hey how about Force skills? Dump the simplified version for deeper more flexible character building. You could still have the quick character for those that don
