  1. Yes, I've had this happen several times as well. Interestingly, sometimes the corpses respawn empty. Some will have the original loot, but not all.
  2. I completely agree with the OP about needing a bit more easy-to-see visual feedback in combat. I would also add that I feel like i spend an abnormal amount of time squinting at the little bar over my cipher waiting to see when she finishes casting so that I can then make her do something else. A queueing system would be nice to avoid this.
  3. Quest items need to go into the quest item loot area regardless of whether the main character or a companion picks them up. This is just a quality of life issue... until you change companions and remove someone who had a quest item you didn't notice and then it becomes horrible.
  4. Save games need to be ordered in some way that isn't alphabetical. Most recent at the top would seem the obvious way.
  5. [Description of the issue] Cannot loot the corpse loot from a Wurm because the pre-dead Wurm Object is blocking the click [DETAILED list of steps to reproduce the issue AND what to look for] 1) View the image here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/74672307/PoE%20Bugs/Unlootable/unlootable.png 2) See the corpse bag below and to the left of my characters. It's unlootable (the cursor remained a move cursor, not a loot cursor) Sorry, I forgot to get a savegame file >< [Expected behaviour] That I be able to loot it. [Other remarks / Comments] There was another bag that was really hard to loot in a similar spot, but I managed to find a tiny corner that was outside the dead-wurm graphics that I could click on. [Files] Screenshot above. Sorry no savegame
  6. Please note that I have posted another bug (http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/67573-quest-or-quest-items-bugged-cannot-complete/) with links to saved games from another playthrough where I yet again can't turn stuff in. The link to the ogre head saved game is: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/74672307/PoE%20Bugs/Can%27t%20turn%20in%20ogre/6b44430218a64d308246d0c575513a74%20DyrfordVillage%207773548.savegame
  7. [Description of the issue] I have yet to be able to turn in a quest in any playthrough. I simply never get the conversation option to turn something in. I have attached links to several saved games on my public dropbox as I am not allowed to upload .savegame files to this site (because that makes sense) [DETAILED list of steps to reproduce the issue AND what to look for] Cannot turn in Dragon Eggs: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/74672307/PoE%20Bugs/Can%27t%20turn%20in%20dragon%20egg/6b44430218a64d308246d0c575513a74%20DyrfordVillage%207718823.savegame 1) Load the savegame 2) Talk to the potion seller and note you can't turn in the quest 3) Note that the egg is in my quest items and that the journal entry shows that I got the egg 4) Ponder. Fix. Profit. [Expected behaviour] That I be able to turn in the various quests. [Other remarks / Comments] As noted, I have NEVER been able to turn in a quest. See for instance my other post about a previous time the ogre head didn't work (http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/67481-ogre-head-not-recognizeddisappears/). Also, in all those savegame files I attached (which are frome the same playthorugh), I have been unable to complete the Cat and Mouse quest, despite having warned the thief and killed the person pursuing her. But then I was never able to find her again so maybe I can only turn it in once I do? Every game I play is on Path of the Damned. I did have to load the game at least once before any of these saved games as all my characters got randomly gibbed by a single wood beetle and its poison somehow. So it could be related to loads. But I did all my loading after full client restarts I'm pretty sure given the lose quests when loading from in game bug. [Files] All files linked above as cannot upload savegame files directly.
  8. I can't remember the exact path I took. I asked about the girl first. Then I believe I asked what he was doing in the cave. I'm pretty sure I ended the conversation with the "you're a big strong ogre - you don't need this cave" conversation option, which resulted in him attacking me. It's possible this is due to saving loading. I definitely saved and quit the game while in the cave prior to fighting the ogre. I may have loaded a game from within the game (i.e. without a full restart of the game client) as well, but I'm not sure. Ah, you're right, it did go to the quest item tab. I didn't even investigate that because I've had issues with items disappearing in other situations so I just assumed it was that. My bad (although as you say it still doesn't turn in)
  9. It currently does highlight containers, but not dropped loot from enemies. (It's possible "Expert Mode" disables this?) As for my suggestion: when I click on a member of my party, I want to select them to the exclusion of the rest of the party. Having to click only on the portrait or click them twice feels too "sticky" for me. Yes, sorry, I meant the dropped item "containers". I also agree with your suggestion. There have been a number of times where I've moved my entire party when I really only meant to move one person.
  10. I would love for tab-highlighting to highlight the container/bodies dropped by slain enemies like it did in the infinity engine games. On that point, wouldn't mind being able to AoE loot the bodies but maybe there are objections to this. I would also like a bit more visual/audio feedback on combat. Or at least a visible queue of abilities that a character is going to perform. I find myself having to watch my cypher carefully to see if she's cast her charm spell yet or not. Either that or watching the combat log for her name. Not the most enjoyable of experiences. Quite possible that's something that's still to come, but it definitely leaps out at me as a location for improvement.
  11. So, I see that one of the areas of interest is how easy it is to understand health/stamina and another is how clear the miss/glance/hit/crit system is. Now, I've kept up with the game an read the wiki so I understand the short/long term difference of stam/health and I've played enough CRPGs that m/g/h/c is an easy to deduce concept. But here's the thing: I have yet to find anywhere in-game where either of these is described which goes a long way to explaining why there's confusion. The weird thing to me is that it seems like there's a clear spot where this could be done: on the character sheet. Under every character's portrait there are 8 items: stam, health, accuracy, D.T. (damage threshold) and the 4 defences. But there's no mouseover tooltip and nothing happens if you right-click them. Seems like a prime spot to put some more information. Specifically, right-clicking on stuff for information is done elsewhere on the character sheet (like on the attributes/skills - by the way, why does the right-click on those items only show the base value and not information about what those skills/attributes does). Anyway, if you could right click on stamina/health and have it pop up an info window with a brief description of the differences, the 4:1 ratio on damage, and any other useful information that would be helpful. And I think this is exactly where people would expect to find more detailed information about their character statistics. Similarly, accuracy and the defences could display information about the basic principles of m/g/h/c and the relationship of acc/defences to that roll. Sure you can deduce it from the combat log to some extent. But why have to? D.T. could explain what it does. And, for that matter, what it stands for. Again, you can figure it out from the combat log or items where it's spelled out, but it should be right there on the character sheet to ease people into it. Sure, you could do a tutorial or something, but I don't really feel like that level of hand-holding is necessary and there are probably better things the devs could be doing with their time. But writing a few tooltips should be easy-peasy and quite useful.
  12. OK, so I killed the ogre an picked up his head (on BBPriest). It's possible I might not have had quests in my log at that point (see this bug: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/67460-bug-lost-all-quests-upon-reloading-a-save/) as my quest log does not show him dead (although interestingly it DOES show my having talked to him in regards to the missing elf). Anyway, I have the head in my inventory, but not with my main character. Not sure if that makes a difference. I can't turn in the quest. And when I tried to move the head to my main character, in case that mattered, it disappeared. This is a fully reproduceable bug and I would love to upload the save. Except that it's 868KB which exceeds the amount I'm allowed to upload.
