I'm far too lazy to reach for the wireless controller to check, but I think I'm sitting fifth or sixth in the Western Conference. If I had to guess, I'd say I'm somewhere around the 24-15-12 mark.

Oh yeah, there's injuries. I lost Fernando Pisani for a good month and a half. And in one game during the Flames, Dion Phanoof took out Raffi Torres for two periods and put my created player on the shelf for two weeks with a mild concussion. I'm playing on the Pro level right now.

That's really weird, Volo. I've tried to alternate starts between my two goalies in the NHL, but then the kid in the minors sent me an email saying he wanted to be traded as well. I called him up for a few games, but it's pretty rough trying to balance a roster with three goalies on it. And how far along are you in your season campaign?

I get at least two to four penalties a game against me with five minute periods. Elbowing is my favorite infraction, followed closely by charging. And how many times has your backup goalie asked to be traded, Volo?

Earlier in the year, right after Heroes was renewed for a second season, the original idea the writing staff had was to kill off all/most of the season one cast. Then, as production went on, they became attached to the characters, so the original idea was shelved.

It's just aboot time to play some NHL08, eh.

If my memory serves me correctly, that's the Black Racer. He can kill you with a touch, apparantly, so I wouldn't be making fun of his skis. Then again, go ahead, Sluggo, and tell him he looks stupid.

I've been using that deke move with the left button and the two thumbsticks lately. Scoring goals one on one doesn't work that well, but if you're in tight to the net it's a great way to set up an open teammate for a quick one timer.

3:10 To Yuma. Christian Bale puts in a decent performance, but I found this show to be kinda boring.

I played a few games this afternoon before work. The Oilers were on quite a tear for me, going something like 4 and 1. After work, however, has been a different story. I've lost twice more to the Ducks (yay! 0-4 against Pronger and co.) and have only won one game in my last six. I've really started to shore up my PK, though. Although I may not blow teams out of the water offensively I seem to be getting better playing in my own end.

You can switch back to last years jerseys, I believe, when you assign the controller before a game. I guess what picks me about the Canucks uniform is the big 'Vancouver' lettering above the logo. I mean, people won't be confusing the whale with Hartford.

I dunno, me and XBOX live don't really get along on many, many levels. And Hurly, you're playing as the Sharks right? Do you get schooled by the Ducks as much as I do? Oh, new uniforms = meh. Especially Vancouvers.
