I went 1 for 3, putting me at 6-6 Conference finals: Carolina at Pittsburgh: **** it I'll say the 'Canes in seven. Chicago at Detroit: The Wings looked beatable last night. Flukey goal by Dan Cleary put them through to the next round. I'm hoping the 'Hawks take this one in six.

Good catch, I hadnt noticed that. BTW, did Anubis only have four toes per foot or is that another twist? Tawaret has four toes.

Ooooh, quite the upset for Carolina tonight.

Some of it was a little predictable (Locke in the box), but overall it wasn't that bad. See: Heroes I hope not, Miles' character was just getting interesting.

Man, and to think I was liking this empowered version of Locke. The not so new evil(?) played the long con better than Sawyer could ever dream. Plus he managed to trick Ben and Ricardus ( ) in the process too. I can go back to pitying Locke with a clear conscience. Jacob was pretty well done. At least his flashbacks only made me think of the Nikki and Paulo for a minute, tops. I'd like to take this opportunity to vent once again about having to wait 'till January for the final season.

So...I guess we'll be waiting a good eight months for what happened.

Yeah, it would be nice if the Caps could give their fans something to cheer about tonight. That arena sounds like a graveyard.

I hope the Ducks and Wings go to seven now, in brutal, gritty, injury plagued style. Both games ending in quadruple overtime. I'm rooting for the 'Hawks now.

Wow, it sure is loud in the United Center right now. Hey, they're playing 'Chelsea Dagger' by the Fratellis! I have a lot more respect for the Sedins now. They didn't win the series for the Canucks, but they've definitely elevated their post season play.

This Vancouver / Chicago matchup is pretty back and forth as well.

*Influence gained : mkreku* makes me think of that video from the Oilers SCF run where they had the table hockey Ryan Smyth talking about girls flashing them.

I'm pretty sure if your pupil is created under the same ISP as the master you don't get any points. Between my two main brutes I went 1 for 6 today. Two of the battles were close, but that only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades, methinks.

No, that's Christian, Jack's deceased father. Jacob was the ghostly figure in the rocking chair.

Hmmmm, I'm predicting a not-so-perfect relationship between Locke and Richard. Also, ressurected Locke is much cooler than his previous version.- My brute
That was quite the comeback. I thought you were done, Whip. And yeah, Taks, Burnoutboi is my second brute. Korqeldroma is my primary, and he's levelling up at the same rate as you with about as many wins. I went two for three today, I think. Levelled up to nine as well.- My brute
See, I was hoping for more of a 'Yeah Kor, you nearly had me" type of post.- NHL
I heard a story from my manager tonight about a guy visiting Glendale watching sports fans paying the seven bucks to get into the Phoenix game, loading up on the promo food and then leaving to go watch the NFL ( or is it the baseball stadium?) next door, carrying armloads of swag. Honestly, Bettman and his expansions haven't really amounted to much, not counting Minnesota and Columbus. Atlanta, Nashville, and Tampa all come to mind. edit: also, TSN released a pretty interesting poll on the dirtiest players in the league double edit: I realize Tampa has been around longer than Gary, my bad- NHL
Don't forget the great one was pulling in close to six million a year while coaching. It was a dumb move putting the team in Phoenix to start with.- My brute
Damn it Taks, I nearly had you down before you clubbed me with your mace.- NHL
Here is an interesting read on the 'Caps Donald Brashear.- NHL
But wasn't that in triple overtime, Hurly? I haven't even seen a highlight reel tonight. Good on the 'Canes for shutting out Boston.- NHL
Luongo looked human in the third period of the series opener. And Vancouver fans have an annoying habit of doing that every game. Credit Chicago, however. Not all of the goals against were completely his fault. Like the short handed go-ahead goal for the Hawks. I can see a coach pissing his pants when you lose the lead, with a shorty, in the second round of the playoffs. Chippy game, though. - LOST
