TV: Heroes
There's a new installment of the online comic at the official Heroes site. For those of you who haven't been reading these, you should. Decent backstory stuff going on there.

ABC Miniseries: The Lost
If they write off Shannon of for being a bitch, and kill Ana Lucia and Libby because of some D&D, shouldn't Charlie's public complaining about his role make him a great taget?

NHL
Hey, nobody forces the draftees to sign any contracts. I think that if you're drafted by a team that you don't want to play for, don't sign, wait a year and then take your chances in the next years draft. I actually liked Nonis-es? comments about the schedule a fair bit. He's dead on when he says the eastern teams have a less intense travel schedule. I guess any player that doesn't want to change time zones more than five times a season shouldn't bother signing in the west then, should they Volo?

Dave Nonis sounds off on todays' NHL. He raises some valid points. And I see on the ticker for one of the sports channels that both Brian Rolston and Mike Knuble are looking to miss some time with injuries. Not cool. Not cool at all.

You're right about that, Matt. Up north we have what's known as the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission. It's the governing body for anything that gets broadcast over Canadian airwaves. Last I checked, the percentage was about 35% on homegrown content.
