I don't think that Jacob is the smoke monster. My stoner senses tell me that Jacob is more along the lines of Desmond, someone who got caught in some island anamoly and as a result is now kind of invisible (there was a second or two where you could see him, it was just pretty dark). As for the tk, meh. Although Ben is a stone cold liar, I do believe him when he says he can see Jacob. Of course, the episode would lead us to believe he can't hear him, however...

I've been up for nineteen hours. My folks and I made a road trip for my grandma's 90th birthday. I tripled the odometer reading on my new SUV, and didn't smoke inside it on the five and a half hour trip down, where I let them drive for a spell, nor the four hour drive back (where I wouldn't share the wheel). Now I have to be at work in another six hours. I predict a long morning ahead.

I'm kind of sharing Meta's opinion of Spider Man. They've taken abusing Spidey to a new level in this film. And the humour wasn't bad either. But for the most part, this whole movie kind of was good to somewhat good. Nothing groundbreaking. I think this franchise needs to rest for a little while.
