Le-cav-al-ier leads teh way. ATL/NYR :if Lundqvist is sharp, Rangers in five, otherwise Atlanta in seven. Sens/Pens : I'll go with Pens in seven, although I could see this series going either way. DET/CAL : The Oiler fan in me wants to pick Detroit, but the Flames can beat the Wings. Unless Datsyuk can finally learn to turn it up for the postseason. Regrettably the flames only need five games. ANA/MIN : I really want Minny to win this one. May Wronger and Weinermeyer collide on the first shift of the first game and break each others' legs. Wild in seven. VAN/DAL: Nucks in five. Sedin sisters shine, and Modano retires after going pointless and minus 9 in four games. NAS/SJS : Classic speed against size matchup here. Sharks in seven, although Nashville could pull off the upset.

Yeah, I watched Jersey tie and then overtime, but then I had to go to work just before the shootout started. I wonder what will happen in TO now that teh mighty Leafs have missed the post season for the second straight year. It would have been moot anyway, as Buffalo will probably run away with the Eastern title, although I'd really like to see Pittsburgh or Tampa take the east, then lose to either the Sharks, Nucks or Wild in teh finals. The Cup is coming west this year, I can feel it.

That was quite the battle. Higgins' first goal was probably my favorite. And thanks for nothing, Colorado. You could have really done us a solid last night by beating Nashville and then the Flames today. It would take away a lot of the hurt from this season if Calgary didn't make it either. Ah well. To close out the season with a win will be good for the Oil. Of course we just screwed ourselves out of the first overall lottery, but beating Calgary was worth it.

The Rolling Stones - Beast Of Burden

I am so glad that our season ends tomorrow. The Edmonton paper had a front page story about how Prongergate was the reason we were so horrible this year. Give it a rest already. I'd really like for Colorado to win tomorrow, and beat Calgary on Sunday to take the Flames playoff spot. But sadly, the two points we'll give our archrivals tonight will be just what they need to squeak into eighth spot. At least it's all over.... I'm going to watch the Leafs and Habs tomorrow. Should be good.

I liked the airplane part of the second one. But the whole rogue military squad was pretty hokey. I'm not going to spoiler tag that, since if you haven't seen Die Harder yet, there's probably little hope for you. And the first should go down as a classic, I think.

I'm a little confused on my island geography here. So now the monster is trapped in the Others section of land? That may make the relocation effort a little more difficult. Besides, half the appeal of them being castaways would be LOST ( weak pun intended) if they all lived in condos. Okay, I realize that the Van and Dharma Beer negate that last bit.

I don't know what you guys are smoking, but John MacLean + bad guys + bullets + explosions = good time. I thought the second installment was the weakest in the series as well, but still pretty enjoyable.

Does anyone else think that the rest of the castaways will have trust issues with Jack and Juliet? So do you think the monster did a retinal scan of Juliet?

Finger Eleven - Paralyzer

I could be mis-informed, but with Carolina being eliminated from the playoffs tonight this could be the first time in NHL history that both teams from last years final don't even make it to the dance the next season. Ouch!

Well, my day has been one part tickety, the other part boo. I managed to get my car out of the shop today, and only for the low low price of half of my chequing account!! Then they finally installed new windows in my condo, which is also nice. Plus teh video store phoned and my DVD's of Bebop finally arrived. Since today has been so up, I figure tomorrow will suck balls when I have to put my blinds back up and reorganize my furniture.

Plus those 11 thousand or so fans who show up most of the time for Devils games don't really give a ****, so what does it matter in the long run? There's no public scrutiny in Jersey, which must be nice.

Sounds to me like somebody didn't want to drink Lou's Kool-Aid. I guess a 47-24-8 record isn't good enough to keep your job in Jersey. Go Pens!!

I just caught the highlights of that fight. The Zack Stortini/Martin Lapointe fight was much better. Of course, the game it was played in was totally meaningless.......

Well, tonight at the second job I got to take some 30 packs of beer and convert them into six packs. First I had to load the cans into this press like machine... then you pull the handle, and the little red cups cover the tops of the beer cans It was about as much fun as I could handle after working since six in the morning.
