I leave for a few and the whole thread went downhill! I mean, not another Hoff icon. Okay, I'm still considering all my options. Currently, I'm using the Rabbit from Harvy as my avatar. Do you like it?

The big question is, how much does an avatar represent the real you, or how you would like to be seen online? Some folks use an avatar to describe their interests. Other folks use an avatar to describe themselves. Still others use avatars to represent the whim of the moment. Folks come to think of the avatar when they think of the person, and the person when they think of or see the avatar. A lot of times, however, the picture in the avatar doesn't represent how folks think of the person. Oerwind would be an excpetion, since he's so thoroughly focused on... dammit... you know, the robot cartoon. Anyhow, he's an exception that proves the rule.

I'm afraid too! The avatar size question came up in the Obsidian forum recently and I know GM is taking it under consideration right now. You might, might get larger avatars soon. Then Atreides will undoubtedly want an even larger anime avatar!

I think the kid from Family guy represents my truly creative, evil genius! I've noticed that Hades' doesn't have an avatar. We need to think of one for him, also.

You guys suck! Okay, here's the deal. I need an avater that represents me as you see me. For some, that might mean a big phallus or some such. That's not cool! No meanspirited suggestions. Of course, silly suggestions are welcome. So, am I the tower of monumental intellect? (which is how I see myself!) In that case, maybe a huge brain would be appropriate. on the other hand, I suspect some of you think I talk too much, so therefore would suggest the big word "BORING" as my avatar. So, let's play the avatar game and make suggestions for avatars for each other. I want a few suggestions for my new avatar!

Don't forget that this is a general thread of image makeovers. I've very rarely spent a lot of time thinking of what avatar I'd use. I've spent the majority of my time, on every board, without any avatar at all. SO, when we're done giving the Atreides a hard time, maybe you guys would be so kind as to offer suggestions to yours truly regarding a new avatar.

I didn't really get your old avatar, Atreides. I like the new one better. I'm like Wals. I like most stuff, although I tend to go on binges. For instance, I've been on an 80's kick for a while. I can go for rap and even some punk, but I tend to enjoy good ol' rock and roll more than anything. I like country, but cannot take too much of it at any one time.
