Cannot Load my saved Game
Gorth replied to Inot Legolas's topic in Grounded: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Merged a large number of very similar topics on the recent issue with not loading saved games without crashing. Hoping the devs will chime in at some point. -
I'm a simple person, often enjoying the simple things in life. Especially now that winter is over and it's spring, so I can sit outside in a t-shirt and have dinner. Just a bit of steak and onions from the BBQ and some microwaved potato mash from the grocery store (yeah, boo!). The onions could have used a bit more, but I'll keep that in mind next time and start them 10-15 minutes before the steak

Conan the Bacterium says: "I'll be back!" 'Super bacteria' survives for three years outside space station Scientists who attached a strain of bacteria to the outside of the International Space Station have been stunned to find it survived for three years, in open space. The experiment, led by a team of Japanese researchers, involved the bacteria Deinococcus radiodurans, also known as Conan the Bacterium due to its extreme hardiness. https://www.bbc.com/news/av/science-environment-54029521

I do speak to some family back there every now and then on Skype (with video), so it's not all forgotten. It does happen that I forget the odd word in Danish though, but luckily the family understands English too and can remind me what it's called.

I'm an anarchist, not a fascist. Now go over in your corner and self-moderate!

Ehhh... just to clear up any confusion, Majestic is right, Danish by birth although it's a long time (getting close to 20 years now) since I lived there. @majestic I'm sure there are people in Melbourne who love to hear a ruckus outside just to remind them, that the outside world still exists

I wonder what the shelf life of spam is... Was cleaning up my pantry the other day and found a can of spam. It has a packaging date and year, but no best by date whatsoever. I wouldn't really trust food that is 4 years old (unless it's a Cognac)

And bless you for that... I'm still sitting with a broad, stupid grin plastered on my face 10 minutes after watching that video

That's probably what Steve Irwin said too last time he saw a stingray underwater

Unless you are on the receiving end of carpet bombing, assassinations abroad (domestically people just "disappear"), a secret police that competes with the religious police in who can outdo the other in atrocities, a completely misogynistic society that has moved very little forward the last 600 years and a regime that supports both Isis and AQ financially and logistically (ignoring that they pay lip service to try to reduce that support). You might as well support the current government of Venezuela because of their great human rights record /sarcasm I think we'll have to disagree on that one. Some things are NOT worth selling your soul to, especially with the oil prices being rock bottom anyway (and long may that last)

You got to be kidding me if you claim the wahhabist (sp?) regime in Riyadh is any less hardline and oppressive than the one in Teheran. They are flip sides of the same coin and trying to outdo each other in brutality. How many people are dying and starving in Yemen at the moment again? Last time I checked, it was the Saudi coalition that was indiscriminatedly bombing civilians. -

"Belarus elections: Shocked by violence, people lose their fear" "A 25-year-old man died in custody after he was detained on Sunday. His mother said he had been held in a police van for hours. A street very close to my home in Minsk was at the heart of one of the confrontations between police and protesters this week. Stun grenades went off and people screamed as riot police struck them with batons. The screams were so loud that they drowned out the sound of the grenades." https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-53762995 Of course, after reporting on the riot polices brutality, non state sanctioned journalism was no longer welcome "Belarus: Journalists covering protests stripped of accreditation" "Authorities in Belarus have withdrawn the accreditation of a number of journalists who have been reporting on post-election protests there for foreign media outlets." https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-53924922 No doubt Trump is envious of a totalitarian state that can just get rid of independent reporting of events and fix the election outcomes with the backing of the riot police -
It could've been worse... at least they didn't ask you to put up with the patients at home Those beverages of yours sure sounds delicious

There is always one, isn't there?... But, in Australia they mean business now when people try to avoid quarantine: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-53903498 A woman has been jailed for six months in Australia for breaching coronavirus quarantine rules. Asher Faye Vander Sanden, 28, had spent a month in the state of Victoria, which has been hit heavily by Covid-19. She was permitted to fly home to Perth, Western Australia, and quarantine in a hotel for 14 days at her own expense. But she instead arrived secretly in the state in a truck and stayed at her partner's home, where she was later arrested. In Western Australia, people found to have broken quarantine laws face a maximum penalty of 12 months' imprisonment or a $50,000 (£27,000) fine. For comparison, if you try to smuggle fresh fruit into the interior of South Australia (which is panicking at the thought of people dragging fruit flies into the agricultural areas), the fine is $20000

Just one of those oddities I run across sometimes. At first I didn't like it, but then I went back and listened a couple more times. Not sure exactly what it would classify as (it sort of changes pace and character 4 minutes in). Made in Japan?

Sounds like more than just the "HA! Good Fun!" parting line. If you go traveling and you ever decide to stop by Queensland in Australia, Consider yourself invited to sharing a drink (alcoholic or otherwise) somewhere

That creates an interesting conflict of interest, doesn't it? I'm fairly sure Putin would want Trump to win to further weaken the US. If Xi wants Biden to win, it's time for the rest of us, ladies and gentlemen, to place our bets. Which stable is going to field the winning horse in the race -

On the topic of racism and how indigenous people are treated, apparently the executives ordering the destruction of aboriginal heritage is getting hit where it probably hurt them the most... on their wallets "Rio Tinto bosses lose bonuses over Aboriginal cave destruction" https://www.bbc.com/news/business-53885695 -

Australia still has some serious issues with racism, but this clip was too funny to not share. Life as a racist in Australia is getting harder and harder! Warning! Video contains Australian Humour Edit: Not as bad as the CU in the NT tourist campaign
