  1. YES! Well that kinda makes me the only compared to the army of No's. If Revan is good then he can join forces with you, but if he's evil then he can backstab you. Well I reconsider, NO! no no no! Bad idea, cameo good, well maybe or maybe not. I don't know, I just want a good story and the Devs are set to give it to us, good and hard.
  2. Counting the numbers as even or odd is such a powergamer thing to do. But we're all human, I plan to try to even them out based upon the class that I play, which is probably gonna be more Force focused such as counsler.
  3. Freshman Bio student at UMBC, Maryland. 19 and wanting to be a doctor. Too bad about the lockout, such a nice sport, a shame of what happened. Good luck GhostofAnakin, though I'm just wondering, how old are you? There are plenty of players playing for other international clubs though.
  4. The second star forge, bigger better. Hmm reminds me a bit about the death star battle stations.
  5. It says you played the Xbox version. The turret minigame was a regular complaint over the PC forums since it was too dificult unless we used the exploit of start fire when the game was loading. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It sucks having a concious, feel bad about calling Hades names. Man frustrates me more than bleu b@lls. I played the PC version, not that difficult, but it wasn't as hard as Hades used to make it out to be. But wait, isn't that about solving puzzles, if you keep dying then you figure out a way to solve your problem, shoot quick during the loading. Okay so its not a clear game solution, but even without doing that, it wasn't that hard. RPG is role playing game. You play the role of the Jedi Revan, there's nothing that says that it revolves around stats. Find me a definition that says that an RPG has to have stats. " (Roleplaying in the bedroom doens't have any stats, well maybe a bit on size and stamina )
  6. Arguing with Hades is worthless, might as well make a "I Hate Hades" thread. Hades has a mindset set in stone, and its not a good one. He's an intelligent moron (yes, a contradiction). How many times has he expressed himself about his ideas on open class/race/unmunchinism philosophy, many. Well we all don't give a damn because most of the time he is wrong. The man complained about the space combat in KOTOR being difficult, that says it all. All threads are basically bash Hades because no one agrees with him. The man won't waste his time and complain to Lucas Arts becase he has freedom of speech and wants to do what he wants, which is basically annoy us. He doesn't understand that a storyline is a storyline, you can't change it. I think the perfect game for him is Morrowind, very open, do what you want, cRPG. He needs to go bug them about how he want their newest open class/race/storyline game to be. I do clearly remember him saying that it doesn't matter the context of the setting as long as it is open (I'm too lazy to find and quote it), if it doesn't matter to him then he should go bug some else. This ain't happening in the SW universe any time soon. He basically wants SW Galaxies in single player because he won't spend money and is xenophobic. Okay I'm done... one word, MORON!
  7. I want to slap you many many times. Anyways this crpg is based on a storyline, a jedi's adventures in the galaxy. This isn't open for discussion, but you must be pretty dumb to not understand this. Are you retarded? Seriously are you? Because if you don't understand that the game is based on a storyline that makes the PC jedi, well then go slam your head into a wall until you understand this. THE PC MUST BE A JEDI, its the rules/basis of THIS game. If you want to play a non jedi, go play another Star Wars game. Go play PnP, but as far as now, there aren't any Star Wars games where you can roleplay other than SW Galaxies and Battlefront. I know that your not into FPS, fine, but understand the fact that this game isn't open RPG, its storyline doesn't allow it. GET IT! GET IT through your skull, your so motherfing DENSE! Ahhhhhhhh!
  8. A very nice, thoughtout idea. I doubt that its implementable in a very effective way, but if it was... it would be AWESOME!
  9. I was being a bit aggressive, not trying to be offensive to anyone though.
  10. I would speculate that he killed many Jedi and innocents to prove his worth to Revan, possibly Malak's missing jaw is his handywork. He was exiled because he was caught and Jedi don't kill their prisoners. Possibly the only reason why Revan wasn't exiled was because he was needed to retrace his own steps. Else he would probably have been exiled, his link to the force severed in a similar manner as what had happened.
  11. You didn't understand what I said. I meant that I think that it is BS (not people BSing) when the man clearly brought support for his arguement and someone else writes "where's the proof?". Its like Bastilla Skywalker didn't read anything that was written previously in the post.
  12. I think you'll find that most of the teens you find doing this are townies. For those who don't understand what this means, it means they like dance 'music', dress in blinding white tracksuits, wear lots of 'bling' (fake gold medalions, etc), tuck their tracksuit bottoms into their socks and have a really bad attitude. What I find strange is that most older people in Britain claim that moshers and goths are the vandals, which is in fact wrong. Moshers and Goths tend to be more intelligent, intellectual and articulate. They also have better music taste. Anyways, back to the point, you'll find that people abbreviating their words as mentioned above actually speak like that. I think this stems from one of two reasons: a) They are all 'wannabe' rappers - don't ask me why. b) They want to sound like they grew up on the streets of New York. Perhaps they believe this gives them more 'street cred'. Strange... Anyway, GhostOfAnakin, thats the best I can do to answer your question/rant Please note that there are intelligent, articulate teens in Britain. Unfortunately we are few compared to the townie masses. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Baltimore, Maryland, US Former immigrant from Ukraine, been in US for 11 years Thats so wrong. People use abbreviations because its easier and its a bad habit. Its internet colloquialism. You won't find that many ghetto teens cause if you're ghetto, your broke. Being 19, among my circle of friends we may joke around, get stereotypical, but no one is a "wannabe rapper". Though I do with there was less colloquialism in america, it brings culture down. Another thing, dance music is a very general term. There are clubs where people dance to Jazz, Hip Hop, Techno/Rave, Russian pop/dance/w'e. Its like saying martial arts without being specific about which one you are referring to. Internet shorthand is just that, shorthand. WTF is townies? That in itself is colloquialism, if in one part of the US a carbonated soft drink is called soda and in another its called pop, thats just lingo. I think that colloquialism isn't good, I like British english better, its much more cleaner. Oh just read that you wrote english speaking or 'English' teens, I'll took it to mean americans as well.
  13. I think Canderous is the new Mandalore as well. jaguars4ever already brought up proof, 40 years + 18 years + 5 years. If you don't agree, refute it or just say you don't agree, its such BS when you say there's no proof when the man clearly supported his theory with something.
  14. It has been confirmed, I have seen it multiple times around these boards and abroad that Sion is Kreia's old apprentice.
  15. The PC could be the former mentor who went after Revan, to stop/assist/reason with him.
  16. Well like I said, the Revan being your PC issue was kinda going on and off in my head. I'd find support for it, then against it, then for it, finally I do agree that PC probably isn't Revan at all. But the thing with Sion, when he says find her, its more of a technical analyzation. That would require 2 voice sets with him saying "find him" and "find her". The easier one would be "find them", that is IF he's looking for the PC. On the other hand we know the relationship between Kreia and Sion and she is his mentor and a jedi. It is probably more likely that he is hunting her and you get involved so the focus shifts to you because she tries to reopen your link to the force, which has been severed. (The identity of the PC is very important in this because he must play a major role in fate of the galaxy, possibly a former powerful jedi/soldier and that can shift focus to the Sith Lords hunting the PC besides Kreia) The PC is in a position that is very much similar to Revan's in Kotor, building his/her way up back in mastery of the force.
  17. Darth Sion is looking for Kreia, not the PC. As in the screenshot. I had this idea way far in the back of my head that the PC is Revan (agaaaaaain, that why the Devs are tight lipped about what happened to everyone's favorite hero/villain), but that's prolly wrong.
  18. It's really basically how you played the game. I've been playing RPGs for about 8-9 years, first one was Wild Arms for PS1 and second was FF7 (one of if not THE best rpg for PS1). Both very good if I may add. They got me going. I'm well versed in the D20 and DnD system so I know quite well how it works. Combat for me was alright, not too difficult but not pushover. I played on normal but later switched to hard. When I changed it to hard the only problem I had was on Taris because I didn't level my PC at all, left him at level 2 so that I could maximize the Jedi Consular class. That was hard because of relative weakness of the main character at such a low level on those settings, but afterwards it seemed fairly easy/normal without too many difficulties. It depends on your experience with RPGs, D20, and understanding of game mechanics. I liked the difficulty of Kotor, but if its raised a bit, then it would be perfect. Some people had difficulty with the mini-games, space combat was fairly easy once you got the hang of it, swoop bikes took a while to get a handle of. Everyone is different in these regards.
  19. LOL, yes I would refuse those names as well. I think I used Estiat Nareth.
  20. Your mastery of the force is weak, you may as well force persuade a rat to do your bidding.
  21. The Zebrak seems nice, bionic arm and all. I think having a Yodaling would be very interesting, and a big surprise/gift from the devs.
  22. I have aim, mvp255. In Bio we all created a chatroom and went professor bashing. Labtops are sweet. :D
