  1. WTf Please tell me this is a sick sick joke :'( <{POST_SNAPBACK}> *bangs head against wall* Please tell me you are joking, you should know better by now
  2. Never mind that, how can he (Darque) use Selphie as an avatar pic, that's like... SICK. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Darque, no offense, but I thought you were a woman? And the Iliad isn't quite historical accurate, it's a bunch of stories and legends written and re-written and so forth. They contain a core of truth, but to say the stories are historical accurate goes a bit too far IMO.
  3. Yeah, but bluetooth only works up to like 10 metres or something, it's not like you can park your car outside a company and use their network from outside with bluetooth. ps: Or were you responding to someone else?
  4. I think a lot of people should know how to use the spoilertag... "
  5. I think you are confused with WiFi.
  6. I never played Halo, though I have to say the Empire, because the Empire consists of humans (us) and the humans are always the good guys when it's us against the aliens, and the good guys always win .
  7. Yes I did. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry, had a little trouble figuring out that metaphor
  8. Hades, you still haven't answered my question about KotOR. See post #30
  9. Exactly my point. I can rember having a similar discussion a month or so ago. It's about what you seek in a game. Some people want a challenging game that asks a lot of their capabilities, and some people just want to experience a game. I think the latter was the case with KotOR.
  10. So tell me, did you enjoy KotOR?, was it challenging enough for you?
  11. Honest question intended. Do you seriously think I whine too much? If so, please tell me what I do wrong in your opinion. This is the first time I hear about this !
  12. Hey! I that was (kinda) my question
  13. No, in your case it's the best thing that could happen to you (from a regular OE forum visitor point of view )
  14. Oh come off it. That is such a lame arse excuse and you know it. A lot of us have been playing Bioware games since the days of Shattered Steel and there are some of us who have played games from Obsidian's roots since the days of the original Bard's Tale. I am not saying they should make games for only us veterens but they shouldn't go out of their way and insult our intelligence by making an overly easy game. I don't want to here, oh its for newbie causals. That is a load of bull. This is supposed to be KotOR 2. A lot of us have already played the first one and thusly have experience how the game plays. A sequal is supposed to be aimed at the peeps who played the first one and liked it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ok, but does this necessarily (sp?) mean more difficult? KotOR wasn't difficult, but it still was a heck of an experience. IMO, If KotOR 2 can offer that same feeling, I'm satisfied.
  15. I lost my job, penniless, and no girlfriend. I decided to take a more up beat look on life. Over the last few months, okay years, I have been way too negative. A new year is coming and its time for change. In the midst of tragedy like this you just gotta know it just couldn't be avoided. We are nothing but specks of dust when facing the awesome power of nature. Sure we can take precautions but precautions can only do so much. Draakh, you are right and good to hear you mother is okay. I know they have a system of detecting earthquaks in the Pacific so warnings can be issued but warnings are only as good as those who follow them. Hopefully they will put such a system in place in the Indian Ocean. A ten minute warning might not seem like much but that is ten minutes more you have a chance to find cover. I saw some of the footage and people were taking pictures and video taping as the tidal waves were coming in. That is just plain stupid in my opinion. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ...That man has made a 180 degree turnaround in mentality...
  16. You can use spoilertags. Put [spoiler in front of your spoiler and [/spoiler at the end. close with ].
  17. So did it happen and then fix itself or is it still wobbling? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It has probably fixed itself, otherwise we would have known by now, but I'm no expert... I just read a lot of books
  18. I agree... yet again <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, it was a very "special" game. " Sorry, too lame, I know, but I couldn't resist
  19. No, seriously. When you spin a spin(?) it wobbles slightly. That on planetary magnitude is an "orbital wobble", AFAIK.
  20. That the earth's rotation around it's own axis go's slightly out of balance. Same thing as what's it called? A spin?
  21. Actually, its from one of Clive Cusslers books
  22. Yeah, it's 9 am overthere...
  23. And when the earth shifts enough, armageddon has arrived. The earth will lose its balance and turn 90 degrees. The poles will melt and the sea level rises 60 metres. Complete continents will be covered in ice or under water. The human race will be almost gone.... And it is quite possible something like that will happen sometimes.
  24. ahhhh, ain't it cute?
