  1. Bet you wouldn't have it any other way.
  2. Ah, yeah. It's been quite some time since I've RP'ed and tonight was great. It felt a bit like foreplay without sex, but still. Looking forward to next week's session. I hope to see the rest of you lazy asses there, so we can get this show on the road. EDIT: I see you, mr. invisible moderator lurker, you.
  3. Anyway, I don't envy you guys. If I was made mod, that would mean I wouldn't be able to merrily troll and flame, and that's about half the fun for me in these boards. Not to mention I'd receive PMs from JK5 about users posting "computer viruses" and other assorted stupid stuff. Not that I intend to be a problem poster, no sir. I'm totally 100% reformed.
  4. ...Impressive. EDIT: Fix'd.
  5. Yes, it looks like the next very original and commercially unsucessful game.
  6. That's 2 AM Baley.
  7. Well then, be a good dude and send him the links he wants.
  8. Or are you? [this part has been removed due to utter retardation on the author's part] Yes, that time frame will be fine.
  9. Okay, character sheet sent.
  10. You get 3 dots to spend in Disciplines at character generation. You can increase the Disciplines further by spending freebie points.
  11. No, let's see. You start with one dot in all your attributes (it makes no sense to have 0 INT unless you are JK5). Then you have to prioritize the attribute groups (social, mental, and physical) in the order you think is best/makes more sense for your character. Let's say you prioritize like this: first physical, then social, then mental. Then you would have 7 dots to spend in the physical attributes (which makes a total of 10 dots since you have 1 free dot in each attribute which you can't assign anywhere else), 5 in social, and 3 in mental. You cannot mix and match, you must spend those points in the attributes according to the priorities you have chosen. The process is similar with the abilities and advantages, only those don't have free dots, if you don't spend dots there, they stay at level 0. For your abilites you have 13 dots to spend in the first category, 9 in the second, and 5 in the third, again all according to the priorities you choose. For the advantages, you have 3 dots to spend in Disciplines, 5 in backgrounds, and 7 for your virtues. Those are fixed and you cannot prioritize them. As you are playing as a Ventrue, I would suggest that you spend at least 3 of your virtue dots to decrease your generation, as Dominate is useless if you use it against a vampire of a lower generation than your own. Now for Humanity, its value is equal to Conscience + Self Control, and Willpower is equal to Courage. Note that we were talking about dots. Now, you can spend the 50 freebie points in whatever you want, according to the chart posted before. Thus, if you wanted to raise an attribute by one dot, it would cost you 7 freebie points, and so on. Any more questions, post them.
  12. The Masquerade is for wussies. REAL men vampires take what they want, when they want, and as they want.
  13. I agree with the wizard.
  14. < ) ( \ X 8====D And that's as much as I'm able to hint without hurting sensibilities and breaking board rules. " EDIT: I'm sure you can find a list of shock sites somewhere.
  15. There's nothing in Rotten.com that can compare to The Incident With The Bird.
  16. Slow night, eh?
  17. Yes, there is a pic for every kind of thread you may think of.
  18. I have two questions. Can I choose any clan, or am I restricted to the regular (Camarilla and Anarchs) ones? And... just how much am I allowed to increase (decrease) Generation?
  19. Yeah, I hear it suffers from horrible gameplay balance, and the worst part is that the devs don't give a flying fvck.
  20. That is based on the wrong assumption that "colour" is an inherent quality of radiation. I'm not discussing wavelengths, but the definition of a colour. Two radiations may have a slightly different wavelength, but if the brain can't tell the difference, then as far as colours are concerned, there isn't one. No, I haven't forgotten. But as I said in a previous post, regardless of the wavelength, a light intense enough will be perceived by the brain as white. A perfect example of this are stars. There are quite a few different colours, but close enough you can only tell their colour by observing the corona, and that's impossible unless there is something blocking the bulk of the light, as in an eclipse. While mathematically I would agree with you, the limits are placed by biology.
  21. Call you? Why, are you planning on popping out an eyeball?
  22. "This EU is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous communist plot we have ever had to face since water fluoridation." There is a wide variety of mental disorders where to choose from when creating your Malkavian. Paranoia being one of them, methinks. As Archmonarch said, it shouldn't be difficult to create a character around that theme.
  23. But on the plus side, I hear it's got the highest proportion of female players of any game, with roughly ~50%.
