I agree. Religion has no place in politics or government.
-
Not a free ride, but basic necessitties should be free for everyone. Health care and education being the main 2.
-
Yep, and that is the saddest bit about this whole election.
-
Well, there is nothing that the average middle to lower class citizen can do now ecept ride out the next 4 years and hope they survive.
-
I guess that Bush propaganda was better than Kerry's. Like I said, I am expecting the next 4 years to be the worse ever in US history as the economy sinks even lower and foreign relations with other countries become more polarized.

Maybe in the Kanadian education system, Volourn. Volourn, I care about people where I live. Manufacturing plants play a big part of the economy where I live. If those people are out of work, they aren't making money. If they aren't making money, they aren't spending money. Local merchants suffer and go out of business. Its all related.
-
Kanadian math, Ellester. Remember, he is a person who thinks that 75% is a good score.
-
Actually I do care abouot other people. More than 20,000 people lost their jobs in the last 3 and a half years due to plant closings.
-
Not where I live and where I live matters to me. Just because it improved in a back alley of Seattle doesn't mean it improved here in the Midwest. All I see are plant closings.

Gay marriage I don't have a problem with. If gays want to get married that is their business, not mine. For the abortion issue, its a woman's body and she has the right to do anything she wants to with it. If she wants to get an abortion in the second or third trimester more power to her. Its not my business. Lastly religion needs to be a private affair. Running around with "Jesus Saves!" banner is just annoying. In my own religious practice I keep to myself and not bother other people with it. Its between me and my God, and no one else.

The US needs a better system of electing officials and a better form of government.

There have been many Americans since 9/11 killed by terrorists. Just because they haven't happen on US soil doesn't lessen them any. The economy has improved? Could have surprised me. Where I lve at things are just getting worse and worse. It has absolutely nothing to do with Americans not being able to do the job, it has to do with everything that companies can get someone else to do the job for less money and get a tax break out of it. Lastly, there needs to be a complete separation of church and state, and Bush and his buddies seem to lessen it. I don't want to live in a religious nation. I want to live in a nation governed by reason, not my religious fervor and emotion.
-
When Bush wins I am sure that in the next four years the economy will continue to wrosen, more jobs will get outsourced, we will get more Christian themed legislature passed, and increased terrorist attacks.

They represent the state on a federal level, however.

There is also the senate and the house of representatives. I am for a unified system that there would be less confusion. We shouldn't have to have another Florida messing things up.

How Many Actual Female Gamers Here?

Does it matter who is female or who is male? We are all gamers. That's enough for me. -
When it comes to federal offices it should be a federal matter. Have a singular system of voting will often stave off confusion.
-
I have finished voting and here's hoping we don't have the fiasco we had in 2000.

Which Lady Is For You?
Vincent_Valashar replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Seeking to marry a computer game persona seems a bit obsessive, though as a bit of fun it is harmless. I have no opinion since I haven't played either game as of yet. KotOR looks to limited to be worth playing. -
I agree, but it doesn't help matters when neither candidate is worthwhile to vote for and you know that any third party person has no chance.

That is funny. -
I would be wondering about the religious impact of these guys could have. After all in the main three of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, God created man, human beings. Obviously these guys wouldn't be classified as human beings because of genetic differences.

Well, you need to get out more for there was William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, John Pertwee (my favorite), Tom Baker, David Peterson, Colin Baker, Syvester McCoy, and Paul McGann (from the horrid Fox Doctor Who movie).

Doctor Who is the longest continually running science fiction television series in the history of television. It first showed in 1963 with the episode titled "An Unearthly Child" which opened with a teenager girl named Susan who acted strangely according to her teachers, Ian and Barbara. Well, they decided to see what was up with her and followed her to an old alley where there was a Police Booth was at. Well, they followed her into the Police booth to find out that it was actually a time and space vehicle known as the TARDIS. Susan's grandfather, only known as the Doctor at the time, set the vehicle in motion immediately to protect her. He didn't want the teachers to blab to their friends that the new student and her only living relative were aliens from a far more advanced civilization. That started the whole series which ended in mid to late 1980's with the episode "Survival" where the Doctor faced the Master in a life or death struggle in his current companion's, a teen rebel who swings a mean baseball bat and loves to pack Nitro-9 explosives, home town. Man, I am too much of a geek.
