  1. I'll just bump this, as it's important enough to be considered a bug, even if it's a weird design decision.
  2. Check out the Skeleton Henchman and imagine it with face of an NPC during cutscene https://www.sendspace.com/file/pp390g https://www.sendspace.com/file/73vnas
  3. Yeah, I'm just saying they should fix the description, not the effect
  4. Another account of that bug in this tread: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/86659-quest-mode-reward-bug/ (Hannibal_PJV's post at the bottom)
  5. My lini got hit by Nualia's 1d4 Force damage. She had Superior Chainmail in hand. After the damage roll, the armor had the 'Shield' icon and besides Discard/ Banish , also had a Bury button (Lini has no armor proficiency). I have a screenshot if needed, but I guess you can imagine how a button looks.
  6. I closed Habe's Sanatorium and rolled 0 cards for healin. Still, I got the "shuffling" animation for my deck, which shouldn't happen. I'm not aware if the deck was actually shuffled, as immediately after my game was frozen, with all UI unresponsive, including the red arrow (assumingly there to confirm End Turn). I had to hard-close the app, and on re-entry the UI and End Turn were functioning as intended.
  7. I've tested this with several characters and different deck sizes. For me it's 100% reproducable. When you tap on character's deck, you see a display window with the cards within. The window seems designed to fit 9 cards, with extra cards spilling over the borders of the window and being scroll-able. When a character has 9 on more pictures of cards in his deck (the actual number of cards, accounting for duplicates, doesn't matter), the last card on the right cannot be zoomed (is unresponsive). All other cards , when tapped, zoom in the center of screen, Characters with 8 pictures of cards or less don't exhibit this bug.
  8. What is says in the title. According to the card it should be only d4 (as much as the +1 bonus makes sense to me for a magical weapon). Bare in mind, it's possible the issue is not with the bow itself. I was nuking a villain and was thrownig like two dozen cards and powers at it. My boss-killer's hard bonus (the +X in the red box below the check) changed differently depending on the order in which the cards were played, even when it doesn't make sense to do so. I canceled for the first time when I noticed discarding the Shock Bow adds +1 bonus, and afterwards a got different bonus stacking anomalias (playing Poog added 4, instead of 3...), but the +1 bonus from the bow was always persistant. In short, currently there's something very wonky about the card interdependencies and their stacking bonuses, all dependent on timing.
  9. No, I distinctly remember that when my people at Cathedral fight a monster from a Horde barrier - they get their blessing.
  10. Quest mode, Legendary difficulty, one of the Wildcard is "When anyone encounters a Henchman, all heroes summon end encounter Ancient Skeleton henchman". The Cathedral power is "when you defeat a monster, you may put a blessing from your Discrad into your hand". - With Seelah, I encontered the Cathedral henchman, killed him, got a blessing from my Discard. - then everyone summoned end fought a Skelenton; I defeated mine with Seelah, still in the open Cathedral - the location power did not activate and skipped right to prompting me to close the Cathedral; after closing, it still didn't offer me to retrieve a blessing
  11. Em, no? The intro and outro cutsenes play on any scenarios playthrough, as well a as the first Villain encounter cutscenes. For the life of me, I can't see why that would be any different with Henchmen.
  12. I completed the 1-5 scenario on Normal with 6 characters. During that scenario, the Henchman Orik plays a short cutsene when first encountered. Then, in the same party profile, I replaced all members and completed the scenario again, this time on Heroic difficulty. When encountered, Orik didn't play his cutscene. I always assumed they'd be a line or two of dialogue for all the named Henchmen at least (those cutscenes don't seem particularly resource-intensive, but I might be wrong), and I was kinda disappointed to find out this was not the case. This issue however, now makes me wonder how many more cutsences have I missed due to a glitch? I think, up to 1-5, I only got Tsuto and Orik from the henchmen...
  13. So, my Harsk throws a Blessing of Shelyn on the Warchanter's pre-combat Wisdom check and beats it (in Goblin Fortress); everyone else (at other locations) fails. - for my Combat check with Harsk, I play the Shock Longbow. I also throw in a couple of blessing from other people, just to be safe, cause I have no patience for the little Chanter sh*t. - so the screen finally returns to Harsk and - what a surprise- the Chanter's card is not visible (the check skillbox is still present, with my default STrength die prepared) - Then, my assembled dice turn out to be frozen! - I *think* I was able to cancel and recast some of the blessings, but am not sure - at any rate, I start swiping my tablet, trying to get a screenshot - THEN, I must've hot a cancel button (not sure if Harsk's) - then, my dicepool suddenly changes, and I see my righteous Shock Bow in Harsk's discard pile! What's more - it has a red padlock icon, as if I failed the Wisdom check (in which case - how the hell does the game think I discarded it??) !! - recovery of the bow is impossible; so I consign to my fate and go for unarmed combat; fortunatelly, the top blessing is Gorum, so with a couple of BoG from the other heroes, I get 5d6 and I'm ready to roll! - but the dice ARE'NT! They're friggin' frozen AGAIN! - so I start canceling again, and I think I might've hit a Cancel button on Harsk's screen (though that shouldn't be possible, 'cause now he's playing no cards!)... - and suddenly, my dice pool becomes a single d4 !!! What. In the Flying! F***!!!! Now my Check Skillbox has only COMBAT, no Strength, or Melee, and I have no cancel button for Harsk, and I'm somehow stuck rolling a naked d4 for my combat!!.... TLDR: This little b****rd is causing more problems that he's worth, so fix his greeny hide, or patch him out of the game, or next thing I'm gonna go Amiri on his Thistletop burrow and he's gonna be warchanting falsetto for the rest of his short, slimy, miserable life!! - ... but wait!! I also now notice Shock Bow is not in my discard Hmm... I start browsing... - Eureka! Somehow, now LEM , all the way in the Thassilonian dungeon, has my Shock Bow. What the- - ... and then it dawns on me! Just recently, a user posted an *exploit* (we call it a downright bug where I'm from), where you can drag a card, and if while dragging you change the hero icons - you can drop the card in another hero's hand! Is it really possible...? - YES!! I succesfully use the bug to drop dear ol' Shock Bow back in Harsk's hand, and his dice ool is back to normal! I bless the sh*t outta this check and the Chanter i dead (his card even deigns to show its ugly mug when he's banished!) So, in the end, the Warchanter is probably not to blame for anything else the playing hide and seek. While I was trying to make a screenshot, I've somehow managed to activate the 'drag and drop' bug, my bow went to another hero and for half an hour this bug made me a specieist. My most sincere apologies to all offended goblins. ... Still, the dragging bug doesn't explain why Harsk's die suddenly changed to a d4 and his Check only listed as possible skill Combat....
  14. Turns out, deleting my party wasn't so scary You heroes are saved separately so you won't lose any cards/feats and the adventures you've completed are still unlocked, so you can go right ahead.
  15. Good catch though. Have you ever consider QA as a job? Matter of fact, been there, done that
  16. Seoni can reveal Sage's Journal (but presumably also anu other card that can similarly affect a combat check), and THEN she can discard it to activate her Fire Blast ability. Maybe this is a design decision, but this contradicts the card game rules, as a character must first determine the skill for his combat check (reveal weapon, discard spell, Seoni's Fire Blast), and only then can other cards be played to modify his dice and bonuses. Ergo, if Seoni has to discard the Journal to activate the Fire Blast - she shouldn't be able to reveal it and get its bonus.
  17. It's minor visual 'bug' (he-he) really, but still: on the picture for the Deeper Dungeons there are two bugs, just below Ezren's open hand and looking like Kyra flicked them off her scimitar blade. And these bugs there are two bugs (oh, man, this will never get old!): - if there's a cutscene in the location (for me it happened in the dialogue with Orik) - the bug appear on top of the face of the NPC - if the location is closed - these bugs don't appear to be affected by the red filter that fall over the rest of the picture Seem like a simple enough layers issue. Cheers.
  18. This seems a popular misunderstanding (Obsidian, better pay attention), but it is not *Your loot*. Everything that you don't put in you character decks after an adventure is lost. Lost in the sense it returns to the virtual *box* of the game - and you can still encounter it in later adventures, but it isn't store in any sort of 'cache' as you might be thinking.
  19. This is co-op game, there can't be an 'exploit' per se, if no one is being harmed by it. If a player likes to farm for multiple Deathbane Crossbows - more power to him. I discovered this issue some time ago, got my Lini two Amulets of Mighty Fists, and then decided this build isn't working anyway. At any rate - it would be boring to 'farm' for the most powerful items, as it takes away from the strategy of the game, but if each player can chose what's to their liking. Also, I can see no way of them 'fixing' this, as the this thing you propose (keeping loot lists per Party (or a Story save)) contradicts the way the physical game runs. In the card game, you can play with a maximum of 6 players at any time; if you want to start a new party - you have to disassemble all old character decks and return them to the box, so you new heroes have a chance at the same loot that was in the old ones' decks. In the App, you can run countless heroes within a single save file (it saves adventure progress, not characters, as far as I'm aware), however, so what they're doing is the equivalent of the physical game - when you start a new party build, everything that is not in their decks is fair game. To overcome this , they should forbid you to form a party of experienced heroes who have contradicting decks (exceeding the normal numbers of a card in the Vault), and this seems far more confusing and undesirable. In the end, this is an issue best left to a player's conscience and taste, and not dictated by code limitations.
  20. Pharsma adds 2 dice to a check on which a spell was played, not only checks with Combat spells. Therefore, if you cast any support spells on the check - Guidance, Aid, Agility, Strength, Fiery Weapon... - you'll get two dice.
  21. I discard a card to activate Merisiel's Backstab ability. Then, with two other characters I play on her Poog of Zarongel and Shalelu Andosanna. Each of these allies adds its bonus to the check, but resets the Backstab - the dice disappear from the pool, and when I get back to Merisiel - the card she discarded for the Backstab is again in her hand. I have no problem re-activating the Backstab otherwise.
  22. Harsk failed a check by 1 (I think it was the closing check, but not sure) in Glassworks. The LUckstone in his hand was avaulable to play, turning my check into success. STill, the Glassworks dealt 1 damage to me, as if I failed the check.
  23. It's a visual bug/bad design decision. You have to manually drag and release the Barrier from the top of the Location Deck to the upper right side of you screen. Once released there, the Barrier will trigger the encounter. At any rate, the Devs are aware of the issue and are giving it consideration.
  24. How do you define 'level'? Within the same party profile you can have heroes that climb through the adventures and upgrade, and others with which you only replay low level scenarios (yes, you'll upgrade their gear too, eventually, but not feats). What about a party that's a mix of upgraded and novice characters? And in any case, shush, you guys! Some people need to collect all the Treasures...
  25. Yeah, 'exploit', riiight... In my opinion, if someone is 'farming' for Gold and they're doing it on any difficulty other than Legendary - it's obvious they don't really know what they're doing.
