I vote Obsidian split persuade into the D&D diplomacy, bluff, and intimidate. Lets face it, if you are a dark jedi you are not going to spend time trying to talk the guy into letting you do whatever, you are going to force choke him and tell him to do what you want or else. I think it would open more RPing options anyway. TripleRRR

Lightsabers should be far more lethal. Cortosis ore is supposed to be extremely brittle and hard to work with, I do not see how every vibroblade/armor/sword in KotOR had the stuff. Lightsabers are supposed to be extremely dangerous and powerful, but in KotOR they were fancy swords that could block blaster bolts. Since it is supposed to be more difficult to get your lightsaber in TSL lets have it worth more shall we. TripleRRR

Keeping everything you ever pick up under the sun is NOT DOING WELL!!!! It was a freaking pain in the you know where trying to find what you needed in that thing. At the very least can this new system at least drop quest items when the quest is finished, so we won't be carrying around a dozen datapads plus numerous other miscallaneous junk all the time. It would be nice, but I don't think it matters a great deal, simply reusing the engine allows for more content and story, and it gets the game out sooner. With some changes in level design I think the limitations in the engine will be far less noticeable. TripleRRR

Eh, I always had my non Jedi characters put some points into treat injury, if for no other reason that my Jedi might be a little too busy to heal them when they need it. TripleRRR

I agree with the last Darkside point, most of the time you received DS points by being petty, or by saying something cruel. Come on, why can't I stop in the street and force choke that annoying jerk who got in my way, or use force lightning to fry someones speeder as they go by?
