What Are You Playing Now: Gaming Lives
Mount & Blade 2 is great. Single player wise, it has improved on a ton of stuff from Warband. It looks great, controls well. I kmow it is kind of early access, but it is on sale right now and it was well worth the $30.

I am glad you didn't say SNL is trash because that would be a dumb statement. It swings wildly across the quality spectrum based on the cast and host. The Eddie Murphy episode early this year (last year?) was one of the best ever, but they have also had plenty of duds this season. So yeah, get educated son. Also watch Dolemite Is My Name.- Politics 20/20
I have some other reasons, but this is probably in the top ten for why I'm voting blue this year:- What Are You Playing Now: Gaming Lives
I decided to pick up Mount and Blade II since it is on sale. I went with GOG for two reasons. Number one is that my kid has sort of taken over my Steam account. There is a family mode and I could make it so one of us is playing games in offline mode, but it is a hassle sharing gaming time. I could kick him off too, but it isn't always worth it. The other reason is the GOG edition came with the original M&B. I'm not going to play it, most likely, but it is nice to have a copy of it, I suppose.- Politics 20/20
I do wonder if it is a potential false positive. Given how often they get tested, I would think that would be a possible outcome here.- Politics 2020
Yeah, but regular folks would be happy with a "yes, I condemn white supremecy." Not "Be on standby, and let me condemn a completely different group that was not asked about."- What you've done today - One Life to Live
Welcome to my life. This is my classroom right now. Except instead of asking questions after zoning out, students email me for an individual explanation of what I already explained in class, and in the assignment description, and possibly even in a tutorial video that is posted with the assignment. I'm a bit surprised about the Facebook rule for nursing, but I have a similar policy in education. I am happy to accept you as a friend once you've graduated from High School. Granted, I only post pictures of family, food, and fitness activities. I put all my incriminating opinions on this forum.- Politics 2020
It's a big number. It is unlikely that it has any impact though. Those contested ballots will likely reflect the same results as the contested ballots. Unless you find evidence that those ballots are being pulled based on WHO the voters where voting for, this is just a random sample of ballots. Which, as GD pointed out, is super hard to pull off.- What Are You Playing Now: Gaming Lives
Yeah, Isle of Siptah for Conan felt a bit empty. I think it is the lack of all those enemy camps everywhere. I set it side for a bit. I know the base game doesn't have a ton of story, but I do feel like I stumble across more letters and stuff.- What Are You Playing Now: Gaming Lives

Spending over a year in crunch time seems pretty excessive. I would imagine the burnout rate is going to be a problem. Of course, this seems to work for Rockstar. Great games, miserable employees?- The stupidest rpg companions.
For my money, the Mass Effect Trilogy had the best cast of characters out of these RPG's. I mean the entire 2nd game is really just about developing their storylines, and that is probably the best in the series. Plus Garrus is the best friend I've ever had in a game. Although Hitman from Jagged Alliance is the best father figure I've ever had in a game, so maybe there is something wrong with me. He called me Ace.- The stupidest rpg companions.
SW:TOR easily had some of the worst NPC's, made much worse by the fact you couldn't just tell them to take a hike. In my first BG play through, Jaheira got smashed into many pieces by an Ogre, and I remember thinking...I could reload...but I also could use a break from her nagging.- Politics 2020
It's not like he denied any of this. People just don't seem to care. I guess we will see on election night. Or, err.....like a week or two after election night and possibly a few legal battles.- Politics 2020
Ugh, green are the worst. I quoted a fancy red one. I think Amazon charges .99 cents for green.- Politics 2020
That'd be pretty neat. Although the easier thing is to just buy local, I suppose. Don't get me wrong, Jeff Bezos and any other visionaries deserve a ton of money for their billion dollar ideas. I'm just not sure if it is ideal that it becomes a 200 billion dollar idea, in the midst of a pandemic that is wiping out smaller businesses left and right.- Politics 2020
This got me thinking... If I order a bell pepper for $1.50 from Amazon, where does all of that $1.50 go? We have a farmer who owns the field and plants it, a farmworker who harvests it, a plant worker who packages it, a driver who moves it to a warehouse/store, a grocer who sells it, and then another driver who delivers it to my house. Plus people maintaining the website, and of course Jeff Bezos. Who gets what cut?- Politics 2020
I'm not going to speak on SA, but this is BS in the US. Agribusiness rakes in a lot of money for the people at the top. Meanwhile the people doing the work in the fields and plants barely make a liveable wage. We have a ton of inequity and it continues to grow at an alarming rate. The immigrant workforce is not the problem. All the monies are at the tippy top.- Politics 2020
Sadly that isn't far off from the reality. Many agricultural regions have migrant housing tucked into the acreage. Cheap room and board, food from the fields, and little questions asked about immigration status. It sounds close to slavery, but while these parents are working fields, their children are getting an education and a chance at a better life. So what is the solution? Shut them down? That doesn't really help anybody.- What Are You Playing Now: Gaming Lives
That is pretty meta. Buying a game so you can plan out how to build stuff in another game.- Politics 2020
Hmm, I get that. I would prefer it be preserved as well. I just think it was probably more a feasibility concern than "marxist erasing the past" that some folks are going on about. I don't really have any opinion on the work. It's fine, I guess. I am a lot more passionate about Diego Rivera, which probably makes me a socialist or something.- Politics 2020
I sincerely doubt those will be there in 70 years. Ideally they will outlive their purpose of raising awareness about police brutality.- Politics 2020
Yeah, it's not exactly a Picasso. I have a bunch of murals at my school as well. I doubt they are going to be there in 70 years and I doubt they are going to be preserved in a museum. I'm hoping I get a shelf in the library. But libraries may not exist in 70 years either.- What you've done today - Days of Our Lives
