  1. I've found that when playing Pazaak, if you hold your cards pretty much the same as the computer does (say hitting on a fifteen or sixteen) doing stuff that would be certain to make you lose in the real world, it's alot easier to beat the opponent. Basically, it's just as lucky and 'cheating' for you as it is for the computer. It's just that compared to real world odds, it is a little whimsical with the luck it gives both sides. All in all, once I got used to the element of risk and chance they had in the game, I was able to clean up fairly easily with the occasional reload. Also, hold your cards as long as you can. There's nothing better than having three cards in your hand to choose from, while the computer is down to his last one.
  2. You are confused. Figures. The dark sisters think had me confused...I think. The Courtship of Princess Leia is set on Dantooine though right? With the Witches? That's what had me thinking it was Dathomir methinks.
  3. I think it was more like equal, but they usually appear shorter because of the way they slouch over and are in an almost constant crouching stance.
  4. Doesn't Dathomir=modern name of Dantooine? Or am I confused?
  5. That doesn't make me laugh... <_< It doesn't ? I find it very funny. See the above post, he's all but green.
  6. I think the Togorians are by far the coolest though, and would make an awesome Jedi party member.
  7. I figured it out. Poor spelling on your guy's part. It's TOGORIAN. That's why I wasn't coming up with anything. I've also heard the Bothans described as Feline, which I can see looking at their ears, but I've also heard them described as primate like, which I can see from their face and hands. Rather a hodgepodge hybrid they are.
  8. Well, I got no results in The Completely Unofficial Star Wars Encyclopedia for 'Togarian'. However I did get several hits for 'Cathar' and the descriptions sound very much like Muurgh (I do remember that was his name). Either way, they fooked up royally with the Cathar models. <_< Link to a search for 'Cathar' Maybe Bioware got their species mixxed up? Because with the backstory for his planet Muurgh gives, it would actually make quite a bit of sense for the female Cathars to have a thing for females more so than males. [For those who don't know, Muurgh described his world as a matriarchal society, in which the males lived in jungles as hunters, and the females lived in technologically advanced cities in the trees, and the two only came together for mating purposes. Now, depending on whether or not the Cather females (I don't know whether to call them women or not) enjoyed recreational sex, it would only make sense for them to get each other off, considering that for the most part their males were away from them. Hence why it would make sense for Juhani to have a thing for women. ]
  9. Hm, maybe. I'll have to go steal my copy back from my brother and check. Or Google it.
  10. That doesn't make me laugh... <_< Envious of what you'll never have perhaps?
  11. Good point, after about the fifth conversation my first time through the game this began to get very annoying. TripleRRR Would this be worthy of the suggestions to the devs thread perhaps?
  12. Because constant clicking severely wears down the life of any mouse and leads to carpal tunnel syndrome?
  13. I was wondering when you'd find this. You just had to suggest it didn't you?
  14. what? you mean setting your mouse on autoclick and running around like stupid? not to mention the absence of a storyline and of intelligent dialogue. if you need multiplayer sw, just look into galaxies. Thank Gott I don't have highspeed internet, or else I probably would have preordered that s***ty game.
  15. That's the spirit. Oh, and in case you didn't catch on, this thread was started as a mockery of pimpin in 2004's threads, based on a comment Terri.....erm.....Maelstrom.....erm.....Your Execution made.
  16. For your reading pleasure and enlightenment, I just used my mad googling skillz to dig it up for you. Why I Love The Phantom Menace, A Six Part Article plus Epilogue. Don't dawg it until you've read it, Jar Jar or not, the Phantom Menace was better. <_<
  17. I've said it before and I'll say it again, RotJ made less sense than AotC. I had an article on it somewhere....defending TPM and pointing out all the ways it was better than RotJ. Lucas fooked up royally with the last installment of the trilogy, most people are just so enthralled by the first two movies, they don't want to admit the last one's shortcomings.
  18. Actually, the 'lion' species is what Juhani was, though they fooked up royally with her model. Here's a piccy of a male Cathar, he's behind Han Solo. great trilogy btw along with Zahn's books this is my favorit Hell yes, this was THE BEST series as far as I'm concerned. Especially since Crispin tied it in with the Han Solo Adventures, the very first EU material, long before Zahn made his debut.
  19. I didn't think you were, no worry. Even if you had been, I'm more thickskinned than that The entire post was meant as a joke at Craftsman for asking what they were doing. <sarcasm>Great Gott! How naive do you take me to be?!! I knew it was fascetious sarcasm at best. </sarcasm> P.S. See, I can do it too.
  20. **JT wonders what member # he is** Ah, 551. P.S. Vader, obviously.
  21. That's the 'Abercrombie' mod if I remember correctly. Thanks for showing me that site BTW Alexia, it's linked to in my sig for this forum.
  22. If there isn't a Devaronian in the sequel there's seriously gonna be some blood shed though. I mean, how could they even leave those buggers out of the first one?!! Those have got to be the coolest characters from the movies, first thing I thought when I saw one of those guys was SATAN. Plus it would make an excellent Pazaak/Sabaac opponent. Devaronians adn Cantian Gambling are practically symbiotic.
