  1. He has special purple pants - an issue even showed him buying some! :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> See, but they rip? Are they like 100 sizes too big, and he wears a REEEEEAAALLY big belt with them or what?
  2. I'm thinking something to do with obstruction of various speaking apparatus and mispronunciation of the 'f' word. As it's hard to pronounce a 'k' sound with a full mouth.
  3. Do they have foul language? politics? imbedded images? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Um, yeah, and an X-Rated forum for people over 18 who are into that kind of stuff. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Is this X-Rated pictures or X-Rated Roleplaying [cybersex] crap?
  4. Xavier's rich...odds are he bought them from Mr. Fantastic (who came up with the "unstable molecules" that make up the Fantastic Four's costumes, as well as the X-Mens) That said, who makes Banner/Hulk's big purple pants...? Oerwinde - Ah yeah, I'd forgotten about that modern day explanation. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I still don't understand how ol' Banner doesn't end up stark nekkid every time his alter ego erupts.
  5. Well, there're still the Bio forums, as long as the steady and famous LOCKDOWN! doesn't bother you too much. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Erm...unless you're on Bioware's Troll-Watch List. I could go about setting up alternative IP addresses, getting new UPC codes for posting on different parts of their forums, etc. But it's just too much wasted time to post on a forum I can view just fine, that I didn't really like all that much anyway. Agreed, but this whole thing saddens me.
  6. I'll probably join over there if this board actually does get shut down. 'Til then, as short on time as I am now, I'll just stick around here. Be a shame if it shuts down, though bandwidth=monies, and if they've already got other possible boards for the games they're producing then I can see why they don't need these ones. On the other hand, I wouldn't have ever THOUGHT of purchasing NWN2 except for these boards, and it's now going to be 'must have' for me unless something extreme happens between now and when it's released.
  7. Still, I'd wear it. MUHAHAHA! Err...I mean ---> ::Phew:: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd rather have Sam Fisher's Shadownet gear. More maneuverability and you get style points.
  8. I'm thinking if someone could microengineer enough cameras and that new paper thin display stuff I've seen in the works, and then blend them together they could make a Predator style invisibility cloak. I'm also thinking that even by the time they got it microengineered it'd be pretty damn bulky.
  9. A criminal! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well...not quite, besides this poor sod, the ones I've met in my travels across the Internets have been likeable enough. Or maybe they were just likeable criminals. ^_^ <waits for Phosphor to lock this one down too> You going for a record jag?
  10. Have you ever listened to a Scouser talk? That about sums up your question right there. ... ... ... Alright, alright! Calm down, calm down!
  11. After the pseudo homosexual comment, I couldn't resist.
  12. I would say most definitely. While it wasn't as good as the first, due largely in part to being a dual released console port (i.e. if you open up the .ini file for it, there's already a control scheme for an Xbox Controller in it ), the story was still done well enough, and if you pick up the Fanpatch with the improved textures it actually looks pretty good. The tiny areas between loadtimes is still an annoyance, but no more than in any other Xbox/PC dual release *cough*Thief 3*cough*. I picked it up at full price before reading reviews, but I still didn't regret it as much as my purchase of Contract J.A.C.K. or Dungeon Siege. I think it was more of a matter of the first one was just so perfect, combined with nostalgia, that fans of the original just had to rag on the new one as hard as they could. It was better than most give it credit for.
  13. I hope you never find yourself in control of any Nuclear Weapons of this is how you formulate your decisions.
  14. Um...you mean ones outside of the Movies were not added.
  15. When good teams are playing, its more exciting than any other major sport. I was shaking after the Canada/Czech game in the world cup, edge of my seat the entire game. This last year the Czechs were the only ones who were really a challenge in any of the tournaments. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  16. 1). Planescape: Torment 2/3). Beyond Good & Evil 2/3). Scrapland 4). Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines No Particular Order: 5). Fallout 6). Aliens vs. Predator 2 7). No One Lives Forever 2 - A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way . Hitman - Contracts 9). Splinter Cell (1&2) 10). Half Life 2
  17. Now ya'll are making me sad, an' I don't even WATCH Hockey, heathen American I am.
  18. **COUGH** No spoilers on that page, the one 'spoiler' is a joke if you click the link, that two bottom links are wholely and utterly complete spoilage...with a hefty bit of speculation.
  19. I chose #3, for basically the same reasons as Ivan. Not that it really mattered at all in the sequel. Still though, that game wasn't as bad as everyone insists, and the Omar were totally bad@ss.
  20. Normally I'd agree, but I can never complain about another sequel to a kick-ass game like the NOLF series. Condemned with it's supernatural powers and depressing scenario also sounds pretty reminiscent to FEAR, and from what I've heard they even cut out the skill system in FEAR, which is a step back in my book. But since Monolith is a 150 people large developer, I'm sure they'll get started (or already work on it) with NOLF3 some time in the future... Darn, they have to, it's their coolest IP after all... Nothing beats a pursue after a frenchie peewee with a tricycle driven by a crazy Scotchman! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If the last game in the NOLF series is Contract J.A.C.K., I'm gonna be pissed. That game was so bad I just traded it in a bought Half Life 2.
  21. Is this Volourn...making an actually...LOGICAL, point?!! I would like to point out though, that most of the FF fans I've met have been either A). Kids without any obligations who could plug away at that POS game all day. B). Grownups who wish they were kids who plug away at that POS game all day even though there's stuff they should really get to. C). People who suffer from OCD.
  22. Yirmumah!, home of Happy the Tap-Dancing @ss. Something Positive for morbidly black, yet wonderful character humor. Sam & Fuzzy, the best webcomic on the internet, and if someone says they don't like it because it's in black and white, I'll have to hunt them down and shoot them.
  23. Except for the fact that the roots of AvP (the Aliens/Predator movies), and NOLF (B-TV Spy Movies) are meant to be serialized. Plus, it would just be so much fun to see Cate Archer back in action again, and another multi story-arc AvP game. Meh.
  24. I think if small RPG houses were willing to go the Direct Distribution way, and cut out the publishers, they'd still be able to make similar amounts of money without making concessions. Of course, this theory is just pulled out of my @ss, but they'd be able to reach pretty much all their normal customers, while cutting out the middleman, or using gimmicks or brandnames to make sales. Myself personally, I can dig both styles. I thought Bloodlines FPV was done well (but I'm apparently in the minority), and the combat was fun enough. I loved the story and gritty feel too. @roshan: Unless the door is an auto-closing one, and then that complicates things somewhat. The cursor's even more of a pain in combat, not only is it sometimes hard to tell who is a friend or a foe due to the fact that my party's models are the same as many of the gangsters, but also having to switch between the movement and attack options, having to inch the cursor over every single bit of the screen around my character to figure out how many action points a move would take, and picking up items is a whole 'NOTHER grievance. I'm getting the hang of it though, and I've now got Dogmeat, he's nifty. :D
  25. Thanks, off to look and try to play it again.
