  1. You know the party is going crazy when people start making neon human pyramids.
  2. But she has grown in to a beautiful women though.
  3. Interesting approach they are taking with these polls and what not - it makes sense though, in a business where your main asset is people liking you, then why indeed struggle with trying to be ahead and innovative when you can simply ask and comply.
  4. This should be good news for gun nuts. 3D printed gun
  5. It's a grey area sure, but planning to kill someone is most definitly punishable, I don't know the law or theory behind it - but we've all seen several cases where a person was arrested for that - suspected terrorists for instance.
  6. Well I always think that it's a good thing to feel sad, because it means we appriciated the person we are missing and that they made a real connection with us and then I'm happy that I got the chance to get to know them.
  7. A guy travelled the world and saw what kind of food dear Grandmothers around the world made - a nice little project and I thought I would share. But what about yours? Mine, who died 5 years ago on this day, would make the most delicious apple cake I've ever had. Served with whipped cream and a some vanilla icecream from a local diary.. yum!
  8. Modelled on this I think
  9. No the problem is that Steam wants a cut of the money for for the game they are keeping on their servers and giving you support to. Here you want to use their service for free essentially, as you bought it somewhere else - which is why they refuse. If they allowed it, people would just buy games at cheaper venues and then redeem the games in Steam, which would mean 0 profits and thus no Steam.
  10. I think the problem is it was turned into a profitable industry - I doubt it's good for a society to have industry take an interest in something that is detrimental to the society as a whole.
  11. Didn't sleep much, won't get to.. Zombie pub crawl last night, woke up in a really trashy apartment.. no idea where I am. this is.. Interesting..
  12. It looks like you can't get much higher than that - president and super(wo)man in one package. But yeah, 3 was my first entry into the SR universe and I must admit I fell for the charme. The coop is also a nice feature, something I wish GTA would've done more of.
  13. Wondered how we'll view the music of the 10's in the future - as far as I can tell dubstep is really the only "new" genre.. Is that going to be the iconic music of our time, like cheesy pop from the 80s or Dance/Pop/Techno from the 90's. What defined the 00's? hmm.. (I took the day off, this is how productive I've been)
  14. Hey, I'm like the model of tolerance and free livin' and stuff.. hatin' on NRA types are like the only prejudice I have left, can't I just keep this one?
  15. Hitting someone with a puffy bat is psychologically a lot different from shooting a representation of someone.. On top of that they add bleeding - now to each his own, but I think that's very disturbing.
  16. Yeah it's only about the rights for people like that, not that they feel disenfranchised, powerless without weapons to kill other people and deeply afraid of the world.. nope..
  17. Haha her expression is priceless, what is she staring at the made her go
  18. Yeah I think it did, the interludes are actually very rpg'ish in nature now that you mention it.. That and it feels more adaptable, for lack of better words, with costumizable units and government types. Something I never felt with the Civ games (even civ5), where it's all just a complex simulator rather than a unique story.
  19. Funny, I saw this a few days ago on an unrelated note.. They might be useful if no-one here can help.
  20. Exactly, I'm sure this is done just as much from our direction, but since the secrets we want to steal are goverment and not industry as well they have an easier time covering it up.
  21. I only once tried playing without blind research.. hated it. Yeah basically the same for me.. I've logged around 50 hours in total between Civ 4 and 5 and most of that is multiplayer with a friend (who paid for them, so I felt obliged). I still play Civ3, but the only game I always come back to is SMAC.. It feels so damn immersive.
  22. Well, the music too - they chose 'All along the Watctower', a Dylan song like in Watchmen.. But funny enough it's basically the Cylon theme song from Battlestar. Guess they are going for as many references as they can.
  23. So turns out it was indeed Wolfenstein after all. Anyone else get a Rorscarh and Watchmen vibe from this?
  24. Yeah I bought AC too back when it was at a similar price.. It's one of my favorite games of all times, the quotes alone (as you so amply demostrated in another thread) a worth the price.. Well Lionheart is both really good and bad at the same time.. It's a very interesting setting (one I would love to see a game explore better), but gameplay is horribly repetitive and badly executed. I've had a lot of fun fun in coop though.
