Former Titans, Ravens QB McNair found dead at 36 Former NFL quarterback and 2003 league co-MVP Steve McNair has been shot and killed. Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron confirmed that police were called to a residence and found McNair and a woman shot to death inside. Aaron said authorities don't yet know the circumstances of the shooting. "I don't have any answers for you now as to what's happened, who's responsible," he said. Aaron said police have tentatively identified the woman but did not release her name. The former Titans and Ravens quarterback was the franchise leader in wins by a starting quarterback and was the single-season record-holder in passer rating. He was drafted third overall by the Houston Oilers in 1995 after a sparkling career at then-Div. I-AA Alcorn State. http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8...mp;confirm=true RIP

Baseball truly the second best sport around. To those that don't get it.....well you just don't get it. The manny experience rolled into town last night, the pAAAdres had about their 3rd or 4th sellout this year, mostly bandwagon smelLA fans that made the trip. Since the San Diego organization has alienated the fanbase and the joke of a franchise continues to show their incompetence every step of the way they deserve the fate that awaits them, our owner group can't change quick enough then again it's no guarantee they will do anything different - adding quality free agents not "has-beens or never-were's from dumpster diving, improving the farm system, paying quality draftees, raising the payroll which currently sits at 40 million (Half, or more than that is currently on the DL Peavy, Giles, young) we were promised the the payroll would be in the 70+ million, we would be in the hunt for quality free agents once the construction for the new park was voted on Whatever I have been following this organization since I can remember (1969) through high's and lows (mostly lows) and will continue to do so, but I am really looking forward to the NFL this year

Good luck in your future endeavors. Does this signal the end of NWN2 and any expansions?

BG 1 - Soloing a F/M/T getting my butt kicked on a regular basis, still challenging and fun! Finished Nashkel mines and doing some random exploring.

Not saying that IWD 2 is a bad game, the opposite in fact. Just not as good as the original. I did finish it 3 times as a matter of fact. My expectations for part 2 were far too high.
-
Not sure but part 2 failed to live up to it's predecessor and item descriptions was one of the many reasons why. No. The *$%#% Returning Frost Dart was the main reason why. How could I have forgotten.

Your not missing much, IWD on the other hand had great item descriptions and for me really help flesh out the game world.

Gardens of the Night (2008) - Disturbing and well done I thought. No Country for Old Men - The pay channels here in the US show it all the time and I can't stop watching it. Terrific movie, a modern classic. Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) - Hayden Christensen sucks, enjoyed the begining and end, the middle of the film is ......lacking From Russia with Love (1963) - Grant/Bond scene on the train is the highlight to this excellent installment in the Bond franchise. Why I love this film is beyond me, but I do.

On the contrary; the death of a random African child is newsworthy. It is newsworthy because it happens every day, and many times every day. It is newsworthy because it can be corrected. It is newsworthy because it is something that is evil and terrible and wrong in the world that can be fixed with political and economic action that is never tried because Americans are distracted with "Michael Jackson died" and the corporate shills in congresses and parliaments worldwide have no reason to do anything with their public so mollified, and can thusly continue to get contributions from the most disgustingly oppressive corporations in return for never bringing it up. Lol what the hell are you doing here, go save some "random African child" another just died while you sat here

Well that was entertaining

Before 1920: The Cardinals roots actually stretch back to 1898 when a neighborhood group that gathered to play football in a predominantly Irish area of Chicago's South Side, playing under the name Morgan Athletic Club. Chris O'Brien, a painting and decorating contractor acquired the team later, and soon its playing site changed to nearby Normal Field, prompting the new name Normals. In 1901, the team gained longstanding identification when O'Brien, finding a bargain, bought used jerseys from the nearby University of Chicago. The jerseys were faded maroon in color, prompting O'Brien to declare, "That's not maroon, it's Cardinal red!" The club's permanent nickname had been born! In Chicago at the time, football competition was exclusively amateur, but such opposition became increasingly hard to find, so in 1906, the team disbanded. In 1913, O'Brien reorganized the Cardinals. By 1917 they were able to buy new uniforms and hire a coach, Marshall Smith. That year they lost only two games and were champions of the Chicago Football League. The war in Europe and a flu epidemic in the United States forced the team to suspend operations once again in 1918. Following Armistice Day, O'Brien organized the Cardinals for a third time. From that day forward, the Cardinals have been a permanent part of the professional football scene in America. http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com/nfl/azchi/cardschi.html

What car would you like to have if you could pick anyone
Kelverin replied to Nihilus5078's topic in Way Off-Topic
What ever gets me from point A to B, never understood the desire to have the "best" or coolest car. Although if I could pick anyone I would settle for this:
