well, the time period is wrong. this is pre-clan invasion, so no omni-mechs. however, archers and warhammers would likely be out for aforementioned legal reasons... as well as numerous other mechs. HA! Good Fun! They are taking models from MWO, warhammer and archer is not in as well so yeah.... To me it's all about the Mechcommander and Mechwarrior series. Battletech was some kind of DOS game with no clan mechs, who cares about that.

I kind of agree that being overweight is overwhelmingly not a situation beyond your owm control, so lets not have any fat role models in the same sense as let's not have any junkie role models, I'm looking at you Russel Brand, It's not a demographic you are supposed to identify with or rally around if you are overweight, you are supposed to get healthy. Of course I'm talking about obesity that is damaging to your health, not just having a little more around the edges.

Which is the most interesting class for DAI. Tried a two handed warrior with AOE damage but it got boring after I was barely out of the prolouge. Mage ?.

Dragon age inquisition is installed on a loaner I got. It's.. pretty unimpressive. I chose bow-thief and combat consists of shooting ghosts at point blank range interspaced with special abilities with cooldowns, like an MMO basically. There is no dodging and rolling around like you would expect from the class description, trying to keep your distance to the target might work if it's a really slow boss but usually it's an exercise in futility. If you have a big sword you don't get a ranged attack and vice versa, just because. The pause and give order option doesn't seem to offer much advantage over just leaving the AI to do its thing. My conclusion here is that trying to make it both arcady and tactical at the same time doesn't work, pick one or the other.

who So too late for patches anyway. Beat the game. I think it's my favorite of the series, but there is not a lot of replayability there when it's so text heavy and you already know how it's going to go.

It's 'multiplayer only' anyway. You can play single, but it's the weaker campaign, you know like every game since 2010. So tired of all the things that get broken as a matter of course when designing a game around multiplayer coop. It's always online too, for those who still care about that.
