Christmas Spirit
I guess I'll be 'different' and wish everyone a merry xmas. Ho ho ho. I even spelled it with and 'x'.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
The make a spell function was nice in Morrowind though. I miss that.

Movies you've seen recently
Awkward product placement scenes are multiplying very fast this year. I don't particularly mind that every laptop is an Apple, but when they name the product and try to pretend it matters to the plot. It's just embarrassing to both the brand and the movie. But hey, anything for visibility and market penetration.

The Hobbit movie trailer has been released
Subterran species typically re absorb their eyes and grow extra appendages to help them move around. Let's be glad we are not slaves to realism.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I currently have two vampire mages as death thralls. There is a level limit, but plenty to chose from still. The dremora are always available though and can hold off just about anything on their own.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
There are epic level spells that require quests at the mage's guild. The conjuration ones are the most powerful, you can have two permanent high level zombies. The destruction spells aren't worth it as you could spam 5 lower level spells in the same interum. Alchemy can increase spell damage, I don't know if the base attribute does anything for damage or resistance. The game doesn't allow you much in the way of stats.

Yes. I'm thinking they should have done this classical animation style.

Singularity. It's nothing special, glad it was only a fiver.

The funny things thread part 3
Gravity does not scale, that's why giant ants aren't ruling the world. Also, the cat jumped. Do we have any reason to suspect it was suicidal or unable to judge the danger from a fall.

Kim Jong Il dies
I wonder if all those poor malnourished North Koreans would call it that.
-
Kim Jong Il dies
Let me suggest another analogy. A teenage boy who was never allowed to rebel against his mother, thus leading to an unhealthy co-dependent relationship. Now 40 years old he still lives in her basement and is rarely allowed anyoutside human contact, nor would he do very well in situations outside the confines of his imaginary kingdom.

What are they gonna do. Strategic ally. Status Quo maintained.

Method acting with plenty of motivation.

What you did today
Saw a TOR ad on a bigscreen in the metro. Looks like they are pushing it for Christmas here.
-
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I think they can probably get away with doing very little on account of the success of the game. A gun and a hat, and it would still sell.

Love that guy. He sucks sober though.

Movies you've seen recently
It's like every action movie from the 80s and 90s rolled into one.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
My bow does 1000 points of damage with the fortify marksman potion. It's ridiculous. Magic get's boring in the long run too, I like to mix it up.

I don't understand the point of butter. It doesn't do anything for me tastewise. Well, there is newly beaked bread but appart from that.

The category is, by definition, irrelevant. Having an opinion on its validity is stupid and baseless, regardless of the opinion itself. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Seems to me it's is all about categories. How many angels can dance on the head of a pin. How do you account for the metaphysical in a real world setting.
-
Christmas Spirit
Not if you don't recognise the category as anything other than a group psychological phenomenon. Surely it is the belief in divinity that is on the face of it fantastical and requiring proof. If there is no evidence then, ipso facto, there is no observable divinity. The other side of the argument has invented a category outside what can be observed and documented, that's not a draw or a technical KO. It's cheating.

Christmas Spirit
I don't think it's absurd. It's perfectly logical. There is no particular need to organize though, and even less to try and shove it down people's throats. Like, you know, a religion. Imperical thinking is supposed to be the reverse of dogmatic group-think.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I trained my guy up in Alchemy and now I have more money than I know what to do with. I buy up all the grand soul gems from the traders and pay them with useless potions like barter+paralyze+health. I very much have abused smithing and it has made the game much too easy.

Christmas Spirit
Yes, but their case is better. I would love for them to be wrong though.
