  1. From the official site: Release Dates Confirmed LucasArts today confirmed a December 2004 release date for the Xbox version of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. As originally announced the PC platform and international versions will launch in February 2005. Seems pretty firm LA intend a February release date for the international version... Personally I'll believe it when I see it (seeing as UK companies are starting to quote April as a release date )
  2. This handles the original fine on high settings so I can't see any real reason to upgrade
  3. Yeah couldn't get my head round that - they even deliver the Falkland Islands!! go figure... Online, no sorry, but I do buy my games from their stores and I like them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sounds good enough for me B) They don't seem to have any fascist delivery rulles or anyting so I think I'll give them a shot. Sure beats waiting til the end of April
  4. Unfortunately it doesn't look like they actually deliver to the UK at least, it wasn't listed as one of the country options, which is a real bummer. Does anyone have any experience of gamestop? They ship to the UK, but I've got no idea what their serivce is like...
  5. Assuming in the worst case that the UK distributors hold the game back for one nefarious reason or another - can anyone in the US recommend a decent online retailer that ships to the UK? Looks like Amazon won't ship software to the UK
  6. Not something I'd risk myself (ahem) but there's a lot of people who will do that rather than wait 4 months. Bringing the release date forward wouldn't solve all these problems, but it would cut back on them. (Luasart's loss I suppose)
  7. If they do go for wildly different US and international pc release dates, all that'll happen is people will import it (I mean, what is the difference between the US and the UK version - they don't even change the spelling so it's not like they have to do any work on it.) Just a thought though - do Lucasarts get a better margin off the XBox edition or something? I know a fair few people own PCs and XBoxes, so that might explain why they are so keen to delay the PC version...
  8. Before I get shot down in flames - I know it's another release date thread and we should take them all with a pinch of salt <_< Anyway, couldn't help noticing that Amazon (UK), and a number of other games stores are now listing the PC release date of Sith Lords as 29 April 2005!!! I'm hoping that this is just Amazon plucking dates out of thin air (and other sites setting release dates based on what they see on Amazon). I can't get around the sneaking suspicion that Darth Gate$ wants a 3 month head start for the XBox edition in the UK. Grrr. Anyone heard anything reliable on the subject? (I know Lucasarts were quoting 5 February for the international release for both platforms, but I think I'm justified in being sceptical about anything they say in this regard!)
  9. I have been asking about this, and have been told that the req's are pretty much the same as the first game. - This could change, and I have seen it change before a game comes out, but right now, if you can play the first, you shouldn't have a problem with the second. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Cool! Always nice to know I can actually play thet thinlg.
  10. Is there any chance of getting confirmation of the system requirements? (Assuming they're about the same as the original, but you never know )
