who ever read (and wrote) this might be interested in this Topic: "Who is Atris?, I think it is time to work this out!" i have a deep suspition that whoever this Atris is, she has pritty much to do with Sion... -> if sirius is right with Ommin. therefor your knowledge about Ommin could help solving the mistery of Atris. if a conection between Ommin and Atris could be made it would help sirius' theory.

Firstly IMO the name Atris really comes from the latin adverb "atrum"(dark, sinister, etc.). i always look up names that occur in computer games and in most cases one can find a latin, greek or any other root that fits. thats because making up good names is quite hard. so they often use other languages to do it. and they never care about gramatics... why should they. Secondly: here comes my theory... Until now you all only mentioned two female jedi. But in fact we have seen three: the white haired one from the conseptional arts, the one wearing the white robe and hood AND the old evil female jedi with the dark hood, the one with the white plaits. could SHE be Atris? if she was Atris the name would fit wouldn't it? (only a thought: than the one from the conseptional art could be bastila. if you look closely it might really be her... only problem: i can't imagine how she might have aged that fast! and now go on.. tear my theory into pieces! (i must admit that it is really strange they just removed the post saying the white haired one was Atris. they never said it was wrong... they would have if it realy were wouldn't they? but still... there are two female jedi with white hair... some one might have mixed something up!)

i think i'm gonna use wave, confusion and healing most... what a shame that the dark-force-powers are always cooler. can't say they are more effective than the light side ones though. (if you look at it all close enought anyway. i hope they invented some new more spectacular light-force-powers this time!)

i don't. interesting question though. however i too think she might be the most atractive charakter.

how could there be too many of them? there are as many different ways to use the force as there are different people! so if there are many of them force powers every player can choose those that he or she likes best.

Well... the hole thing seems rather complicated.... but i think itcould just fit. firstly the comics never say Ommin actually died. he only was believed dead by the main characters in the story as he was befor by others! secondly there is the fact that lucasarts indeed offers methods to bring dead jedi back. (like in jedi akademy: the sith try to bring lord ragnos back to life. (died 5000 years befor the plot!) ) thirdly i do not really see a problem in ommin beeing arround already 49 years befor TSL.dark lords seem to life quite long: who old do you think Palpatine was in episode one? ...i guess about 60 years old.. or even more. in episode two anakin was at least 10 years older. so palpatine must have been about 70. when luke fought him in episode six he must have been 90 years old at least! and he did not look like already dieing to me.(maybe he was even older- he could have been- he was count dokus master who himself was quite old!) ommin could be 100 years old as well. (he doesn't look young does he:lol:) some have objected to the idea that obsidian just stole the sion-charakter. if sirius theory is write one could say that they really have...but i wouldn't rever to it as stealing; in my opinion it is more like finding an idea you like and developing it. to say they stole the character (if the theory is right) would be an exegeration. he only occured in a comic. i don't think you can have real characters in comics. so most of sion would be made up by obsidian anyway. also the story of TSL may not have much to do with the story in the comic. so IMO it would be alright. by the way i don't think obsidian is allowed to write theirstory without interferences by some LA official. (obsidian seems to have got their senior designer and writer AFTER the story of TSL must have been finished!)

if the force can really be past on genetically... why do the sith not bread like hell then? would make sens wouldn't it? they don't care for the jedi- rules and they want to destroy the jedi. if they would have lots of children there chances would be much better.(the only sith- lord known to have children is Darth Vader!)

Nobody said that the Jedi in Ulric Quel-Dromas familiy were married. they might have been his uncles an d aunts or something. i am not sure but i think it sais in the description of his robe that he hired it from his uncel.

i like blue and green most but i think silver is worth a try, too.

in my opinion it would be enough to be told what happendto bastila and revan after NoOR1. i cannot imagine them playing any kind of aktiv role in TSL though. can't imagine it fitting into a new story, really.
