He's the one they call when all esse fails. His horrid dancing makes grown men cry as they cower in fear. I dont really understand what is fun about dancing. I imagine it could be somewhat amusing if you were on some sort of mind-altering drug but I dont understand how people can enjoy dancing sober all night. I only do it to make my friends laugh, I dont gain any pleasure whatsoever from moving my body in tact with music. I had a friend who is a DJ and he said he had to get high, he didnt enjoy it otherwise. And it had to be 'shrooms or E, definently not alcohol or pot.

I sort of went ahead and did it a lot more litterature-like than I had planned to so I too feel an urge to post it. But I will have to make do with my friends for now, perhaps we could post our backgrounds later when our characters know eachother?

I thought Id just post what you wrote before about spending dots and freebies at character creation. So buying 2 extra discipline dots would cost 14 freebie points, while buying 3 dots in an Attribute such as Manipulation would cost 15. The first points you get, the 13/9/5 and so on is are 1 point = 1 dot. this chart is only for freebie points <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Ill quote what Ender and I wrote in the other npn-spammy Vampire info thread. Its easy and 50 freebies is quite a lot, usually you just get 15. So you dont have to cut back on anything in order to raise something else.

Im 7 hours ahead of you so if you had games in the afternoons, it would be ample gaming time for me. If we play while youre at work, it would mean mornings for me which is ok too. I usually sleep from 7pm to 4am your time, but I could adapt my only no-no time is about 8pm-0am when its too late AND too early to adapt. Balance is the key to keeping players interested. A bit of social games, a bit of investigation and a bit of action/combat. While we couldnt handle a Sabbat warpack, we could certainly take on ghouls or humans and lone or small groups of vampires. Im also all for being resourceful and creative

Vampire is much more fault-proof than D&D, there are no classes or levels that restrict what skills and so on you may take later. And there are no prerequisistes for anything. well, non-clan disciplines cost more exp to get and raise but you can still get them.( there used to be some high-level combo disciplines that you had to have like Animalism 3 + Protean 4 to be able to learn but those were mant for Elder NPC's I think)

I can be a vey good dancer but th problem is that Im very bodily aware and as such I feel very silly when shuffling about the dancefloor. This in turn leads to me being incapable of dancing in a serious and controlled manner. All my friends seem to suffer from the same symptom.

It didnt spill, no. I did splash out a small amount of apple juice concentrate when trying to repeat the procedure though, but that was caused by the incompetence of yours truly. I did try to cut some salad with my sword a while ago and the knife was much much sharper... and handier.

Then I suppose my pull-through thingie must be top notch cause the knife is sharp as ever :D and by sharp I mean I opened a pack of milk ninjah-style as late as this morning.

And whatever you do, dont get a bloody table grill. Its the most useless piece of hardware you could have in your kitchen. Its like two electric frying pans that come together so you can fry your pork chops on both sides at once, but you cant see what youre doing so its impossible to get a good surface. It hasnt got a damn thing to do with barbecuing in any case..

I deleted this post because it was wrong. The quickstart does contain some useful info but the rules and disciplines etc. are simplified and cant be used for playing "proper" vampire. I even think it has some serious errors on the clans.

Guide to the Camarilla (50.2mb) Its the most useful of all the resource books. Its got more in-depth explanations on the clans, some more backgrounds & traits etc. Most importantly it explains everything there is to know about the Camarilla(every vampire who isnt a member of the Sabbat is considered to be part of the Camarilla which is like the EU, UN, G8 all rolled into one) Musopticon> No, you shouldnt. And that goes for anyone planning on playing recently embraced characters... unless you have a sire that could have told you of these things

Whats with these new players? Dont they know that Diplomacy is bloody serious bussiness?
