I am a huge fan of the portraits, although having the snapshot option would be nice for people who want it. I really hope they are able to create portraits to match all the options. Sounds extreme but if the hair and faces could be swaped (similar to the female face with multiple hair swaps portrait). Kinda like the flip books for kids where you change the eyes mouth and hair (but for face hair and beard). Would take some work but having so many options would be incredible.

I'm a big fan of the exp system, was concerned at the start but really enjoy it now. I never liked playing the stealth or diplomacy role because you would always end up with more exp by just killing everything. Seemed to take away from the whole point of role playing certain character types, the freedom on quest resolution with the new system is excellent. And as far as not needed to kill enemies on the map, I am sure quest will be hidden behind groups of wilderness enemies and with the stronghold gold will be much more important (I hope) almost acting as a gear/stronghold exp.

First off Pillars of Eternity looks and sounds amazing. I really enjoy the writing, the character movements and actions while in a dialog feel amazing! Reminds me of reading a good book and not just a wall of text! I did find the talents menu at level up very basic, would be nice to have graphics and text that really pop. I have always had a fondness for talents and find they add a ton to character customization, would be nice to have a UI to support the importance. Also a note if you are about to pick a talent your class is getting for free later would be nice, although this happened with my fighter on weapon specializations (which I admittedly could have picked a different one) so not sure if this is an issue with other free talents. Also it would be nice to have some way to compare equipment, especially in shops. So happy to be playing!

I like this new stretch goal idea but I am increasing my pledge today (soon as the site allows me to) and hope that all pledge increases from yesterday on count towards the new stretch goals
