  1. How exactly do you work off 2000 calories in a day?
  2. Never saw the GBA version. The PS2 versions are fun ,even more so if you play with someone else (as long as they are not an arse). The second one in particular has these pivitol character moments where you do a series of quests which ultimately lead to you getting a serious power up in what feats you can access. Length wise, not a whole lot shorter than Jade Empire.
  3. Well they dont spend all that money on advertising for you not to eat there now do they. As I said I dont know how it is in the land of the chunky but over here it's been all fruit and healthy options at McDonalds on TV at least.
  4. I find that difficult to believe. As far as I know he's the only one who's been dumb enough/brave enough to put his health on the line in that sort of test. If there have been other studies though feel free to link them in.
  5. Sounds like some sort of wasting disease..
  6. Well you can count the number of RPGs done on the Xbox on your fingers.. If you condense it to "proper" RPGs then probably one hand.
  7. And I'm sure it has nothing to do with the game selling scads "
  8. Dunno sounds positively unhealthy for a 6 foot man....
  9. I dont know I'd be quite tempted to put my internal project on hold if offered that sort of cash cow. Depending on the deal of course. I dont see Feargus being enthusiastic about another 1 year crunch project. But having a 360 (or PS3) flag title in KOTOR III would be quite a feather in the cap for Obsidian.
  10. That would lead to a an empty forum.
  11. Sony bought the rights to Matrix online.
  12. Wouldnt it be neat if you could lock your own threads
  13. June 14, 2005 - Atari saw full-year profits but a loss for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2005, the company reported Tuesday. For the closing quarter of fiscal 2005, ending March 31, 2005, Atari reports net revenue of $62.7 million compared to $64.8 million in the same period last year. The fourth quarter saw a loss of $9.1 million, compared to a loss of $17.3 million in Q4 2004. The company plans to close its Humungous Entertainment (Backyard Baseball) operations, and reports fiscal 2005 financials both including and excluding the studio's contribution. For the year ended March 31, 2005, and excluding Humungous, Atari reports net revenue of $395.2 million, compared to $447.5 million for fiscal 2004. Including the contribution of Humungous, Atari reports net revenue of $407.8 million compared to $469.0 million in fiscal 2004. For fiscal 2005, Atari reports profits of $5.7 million, up significantly from fiscal 2004, for which the company posted a loss of $38.6 million. As previously announced, the company plans to close its Santa Monica and Beverly, Mass. studios. Reported income includes restructuring charges of $4.9 million. "Fiscal 2006 will be a year of focus at Atari," commented chairman and interim CEO Bruce Bonnell. "We will be releasing fewer SKUs in fiscal 2006 than in fiscal 2005. By improving our business processes in order to release higher quality products on time and on budget and creating comprehensive global market initiatives to support them, we will be taking better advantage of our assets. We will continue to work with leading development studios and capitalize on our third-party distribution business." Atari's schedule for its new financial year includes: Dragon Ball GT: Transformation (GBA), Dragon Ball Z Budokai: Tenkaichi (PS2), Dragonshard (PC), Duel Masters: Shadow Code (GBA), Dungeons & Dragons Online (PC), Indigo Prophecy (PS2, Xbox and PC), Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure (PS2, Xbox and PC), RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Soaked (PC), The Matrix: Path of Neo (PS2, Xbox and PC), Timeshift (PC, Xbox), and Tycoon City: New York (PC).
  14. It's served it's purpose and you helped the guy out.
  15. In translation that implies that Obsidian are doing KOTORIII.
  16. Was NwNII even at E3?
  17. You would think that wouldnt you. But you would be wrong. Your totally wrong about him only eating happy meals as well. 1) No options: he could only eat what was available over the counter (water included!) 2) No supersizing unless offered 3) No excuses: he had to eat every item on the menu at least once
  18. Somehow I dont see a game with ZX spectrum graphics being a chartstormer, even if it has the best story ever writen buried in there somewhere.
  19. Aaaalright, just to set the record straight...BioWare did not develop KotOR 2. Obsidian Entertainment did. Additionally, BioWare is highly unlikely to develop KotOR 3, what with the new intellectual properties we are busy developing (ie. Jade Empire, Dragon Age). James Henley said it. And this You might want to brush up on your forum etiquette, or this thread will follow the other into lockdown in short order. As Charamei stated, the place to talk about this is on Obsidian's boards, if you actually want it seen. If you truly feel the need to continue to talk about it here, that's fine and dandy. Do so civilly, but please do not expect KotOR 3 to be done by BioWare. :shade: Hope its useful because I had to memory search for my username and password The latter post does seem to imply that Obsidian are indeed the developers of KOTORIII but maybe I'm just reading into it. (full history in the KOTORIII after KOTORII sticky)
  20. I dont see any reason why one would preclude the other. It's highly unlikely the same person would be responsible for both in the workload. From the point of trying to sell the game. Graphics all the way. I prefer to call myself a realist rather than a cynic "
  21. The game already has a ton of that anyway. Using the enviroment to your advantage is a big part of making the game easier to handle. It's a case of when it comes to the button sequences, would you rather be doing something (and focusing on the scence) or sitting back doing nothing while the character goes through the motions. While you could toggle the option, its inevitable then that people are going to choose the path of least resistance like they usually do with those sorts of things. What you have to understand is that the interactive scenes allow you to do things that the standard controls wont.
  22. Quite likely. There is a big difference between a "thriving" community and how that would translate into game sales. Trace Memory on the DS is the first "point and click" adventure I've seen in a long while. It's currently top of the pre order charts, but there isnt much else around on the DS schedule so you cant read too much into it.
