When it comes to games the only important point is the one where I hand over the cash. I doubt I would do so without seeing the game first. I'm just going to wait and see. -

Ouch I didnt expect the 360 numbers to be that low. Around 10% perhaps, but 2% thats low. -

I started playing command mission X. -
Worst part of FOT is cleaning up the battlefield and selling stuff. It's an RPG interface which just dosnt work for that number of items.

Wasnt difficult, just long. The fight prior to that where you fought all the champions. That one was fun with no points spent but the champions moves are so predictable that it's just a case of sitting through it. Once I ran out of focus I was down to thousand cuts which does seven per hit. Once I spent some points I never ran out of focus again -

There isnt much point mastering more than 5 styles otherwise the game slows to a crawl as you access the menu all the time. There is also no reason that I could see to buy different styles of the same type. Instant access to 4 different styles is nice but more should have been made of fewer styles rather than lots of generic styles. Even if you replayed the game, the styles and how it plays are not significantly different. I got to the Arena without spending any points but the last fight in the arena was just too long winded. As you can imagine the difficulty of the game dropped right off after that. -

Ok. The problem anyway was there were too many styles that did the same thing and the growth was really poor since it only added statistics rather than opening up new combo's and the like. -

There should be three. Strong attack, normal attack and area attack. Something pretty horrific and unforseen would have to happen for Twilight Princess not to be excellent. -

Thats because you cant really conceptualise what 35 times more powerful actually is. -

the light is coming through my skin. We were simulating that - emulating, simulating, kind of a fine line - we were simulating that on the Doc Ock head demo. Eurogamer: So that's really pushing the Cell rather than the graphics chipset? Phil Harrison: Yeah. Those are really hardcore maths problems which the Cell is really good at solving. Eurogamer: It's not just the RSX that drives the graphical quality, then - the Cell can also really be used to improve the graphics. Phil Harrison: Well, I'll give you a couple of other examples. The terrain-rendering demo that was done by STI, which is the people who developed the Cell, doesn't use the graphics chip at all. That 3D landscape was generated in real-time from two input data sources and a software renderer running on the Cell created the final image. All that it does is output as a bitmap straight to the video hardware - it doesn't even create a single polygon, there's no concept of a polygon in that demo. source Eurogamer. -

I'd vote for Lucifers Call right now. But comparing whats on offer. KOTOR II pretty solid (didnt run into any bugs of a serious nature). Last two hours of the game were mediocre but the first 38 + hours were not. Vampire lots of potential but the memory leaks/bugs were of a much more fun sucking nature. Having to shut down and reboot every few hours , not fun. Yes the game works well on 1GB but on the recomended specs it sucks donkeys. Jade Empire. Well by the time I'd finished JE I would have still only been near the half way point of KOTOR II. The combat system is bland and uninteresting and the end of the game is pretty much a hackfest in the same vein as KOTORII albeit with more polish. I wouldnt vote for it on principle thats its too bloody short. -

Thats more than one of the Sony sites I read which was 32 times more powerful. I find Nintendo's 2-3 times more powerful far easier to rationalise(I can look at a GC and imagine what 2-3 times more power would equate) than 32-37 times more powerful which I just cant imagine right now. -

Thats them. They made Saber Wulf and stuff like that. But since coming under MS's wing they have been relatively non productive and mediocre. -

The survey comes as the Nintendo DS broke through the million unit sales mark for 2005, with the console now around 45,000 units ahead of the PlayStation Portable in terms of sales since January 1st according to figures from market research firm Media Create. Overall sales of the two consoles see the Nintendo DS with an 800,000 unit lead over its rival, with 2.4 million units sold as against 1.6 million units of the PSP according to Screen Digest figures. The DS is ahead even more significantly in software terms, with 23 per cent of DS owners claiming to own more than six titles for their console, compared to just 11 per cent of PSP owners. The PSP has some really good stuff but none of it is particularly suited to pick and play. The only reason I could see for owning a PSP right now is if you had to take a 2 hour train journey every day. It's also kind of flimsy and the screen is unprotected , so compared to the DS the design isnt very travel friendly. Ditto with having to cart around all those mini disks rather than the tiny DS cartridge (or even a GBA cart for that matter). -
The Fall is finally going to be released
ShadowPaladin V1.0 replied to EnderAndrew's topic in Computer and Console
Daggerfall has to be one of the most buggy releases ever. But a lot of that has to do with the random nature of the game. It was quite possible to have dungeons which you couldnt finish ( or even leave for that matter) and there was at least one really nasty bug in the main quest. Never came across anything like that in Morrowind. -

Kotor 3: Ideas and Suggestions

Getting some sort of passing time effect wouldnt hurt. Dont know how long KOTOR II is from start to finish (in game time) but it dosnt feel like weeks are passing. -
Siding too heavily with the nature side seriously challenges our concept of free will.

Finished it Superb game enjoyed every minute (except for Hades which was pure torture). Excelent character , great story. And a fantastic end battle.
