Well that would be very nice but it's hardly realistic. Actually in law that would carry a different charge to premeditaded murder. Good lawyer would probably get them off on manslaughter, or completely depending on the circumstances. The guy who shot Brandon Lee wasnt held responsible as I recall. Well your entitled to your opinion, but laws are laws not opinions.

There is a big difference between lying about something you have first hand knowledge of which irrefutable like shagging your intern. It's another matter when all the knowledge you have is from external sources. In which case errors of judgement are not entirely down to you.

Thats a tad extreme

The riot act should be reinstated. That would make people less eager to riot.

Nah , if I do buy any of the new ones it will be when all three are released together on blu ray or something. Attack of Clowns was on TV last night still cringeworthy as ever, but at least I could turn it off this time.

There is always tension bubbling under the surface. All it needs is a catalyst (or an excuse) and everyone goes primal.

Elder Scrolls IV missing Xbox 360 launch
ShadowPaladin V1.0 replied to kumquatq3's topic in Computer and Console
I guess that applies to all the Elder Scrolls games. Even DaggerFall got old after a while and I never finished it. -
Heres the totals from my last generations consoles purchases. PS2

KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
ShadowPaladin V1.0 replied to cwoocat05's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Thats how I felt about KOTOR II. Can't say I'm looking forward to KOTOR III , if it comes along then fine, if not. Not a big deal , plenty of other stuff to play. -
Longest playing time
ShadowPaladin V1.0 replied to DarkAngle's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I've done the odd overnighter. Once I think on KOTOR II. Long time ago a friend and I did Doomdarks Revenge for a weekend in shifts and clocked up about 45 hours. That made such an impression I can still remember the "Watchwords of Midnight". -
Especially as the PS2 has been around for nearly 6 years.

Arnie as pres that would be cool :D

If he does mention it could you post something please ? It dosnt look like that will be getting a UK release And I'd hate to import it if it's crap.

Nintendo have a deal with McDonalds to do WiFi in their resturants. Means you can play Mario Kart while your munching your burger. I don't really like McDonalds but if they started to do it in other places I might give it a go.

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney - Adventure game based around investigation and courtroom cases. Nintendogs - It's just one of those things you have to experience. Lost in Blue - Kind of like an adventure/harvest moon cross. You need to outfit a house and collect food to survive. The adventure bit kicks in once you are established. Advance Wars DS - Not too different from the GBA versions but still very good. Even better if you never played the GBA ones. Metoes - It's a puzzle game hard to describe but equally hard to put down if it grabs you. Those are the ones that spring to mind. I heard Lunar didnt turn out very well ? What did he think of it ?

Nintendo always come up with fun games. I've had great fun playing DS games recently. The wand thing is a bit out there when you first see it . But it really seems to have captured the imaginations of the Japanese developers and thats where innovation tends to come from. I think anyone who wants to see more than Halo V or Fifa 2022 should support Nintendo just out of principle.

Farming MMPORG (I kid you not)
ShadowPaladin V1.0 replied to ShadowPaladin V1.0's topic in Computer and Console
Don't forget you can fish and mine too and cook :D Must admit I'm having difficulty seeing the long term draw as well. You never know. -
Wouldnt see any point in getting one right away. Your probably going to come up against the same thing with PS3 as it's using HD as well. Of course by then your situation may have changed. Revolution isnt doing HD Nintendo dosnt see the point.

Farming MMPORG (I kid you not)
ShadowPaladin V1.0 replied to ShadowPaladin V1.0's topic in Computer and Console
Yes I suppose you could run each farm much like an instanced dungeon with time only mattering in social areas. That one seems the most logical to me. -
Xenosaga II should be arriving on the doorstep tommorow I rented Genji earlier and I'm having a blast with that. Genji is a sort of action RPG, similiar to Jade Empire in some respects , though not in others. Is Digital Devil Saga Shin Megami Tensi ? The wheel combat sounds like the one out of ShadowHearts (incredible game that almost tied with FFX for my favourite). Although the high encounter rate does sound a lot like SMT , frankly that bugged me to and I play a lot of these things. Mercifully you can breed a demon quite early on with encounter reduction powers. I guess it depends on what you call "normal" some are more over the top than others.

Farming MMPORG (I kid you not)
ShadowPaladin V1.0 replied to ShadowPaladin V1.0's topic in Computer and Console
I would imagine there is going to be some problems with the time scale. Harvest Moon works on an accelerated time which dosnt seem suited to an MMPORG of that nature. For example if one game day equals one real day then things are going to grow really slowly. Unfortuanely if say you have X number of days in a 24 hour period then your going to have to practically live there in order to feed your animals and water the crops. Automate that and you kind of miss the point of the game. Unlike games such as EQ where it dosnt much matter about how many actual game days are going by when your not online in Harvest Moon keeping track of how many days pass is vital. -
Farming MMPORG (I kid you not)
ShadowPaladin V1.0 replied to ShadowPaladin V1.0's topic in Computer and Console
Don't get me wrong I like harvest moon a lot, but only when i'm in the right sort of mood. I couldnt see myself as a virtual farmer although if it has the month free trial or whatever I could see myself spending a week there. -
Mayhap it has something to do with this ? Sony Computer Entertainment America has launched a new piece of software designed to make it easier for PlayStation Portable owners to transfer media from PC to PSP. The PSP Media Manager features a drag-and-drop interface and thumbnail previews so users can move files around quickly and easily, and a one-click option for backing up files. It supports a wide range of video and audio formats, including jpeg, wav, wma, mp4, avi and mpeg, and a range of bitrate options are available. A download-only version is on sale now at the Sony website, priced $19.95. A boxed version, which will go on sale on December 1, will come with a 6 foot USB 2.0 cable, sample media and five free song downloads from Sony's Connect music store. It will retail for $29.95. Advertisement "The PSP system has established itself as the pre-eminent device for mobile entertainment and gaming," said Dave Chaimson, vice president of marketing, Sony Media Software. "Now, with the release of the new PSP Media Manager software, we're providing Sony technology that lets users easily optimize and transfer their content from the PC to their PSP system using a familiar drag-and-drop interface."

http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=61503 Marvelous has announcified Harvest Moon Online. Producer Yoshifumi Hashimoto says it's his first online title, but won't commit to platform (reports tease us with suggestive nods to next-gen platforms and PC), and it sounds like Marvelous is entirely reluctant, for the moment, to say anything about it. Still, the prospect of Harvest Moon going online is a nonetheless delightful one. Already we're imagining a virtual countryside full of real farms with real-life farmer's-daughters to befriend and be-bed. More realistically, we also like the idea of going fishing with our friends, real cattle markets, and siring virtual offspring with real other-people. All of which would probably be easier if we just went outside and did them, but, you know. In less hazy news, Marvelous has also spoken out about its new PSP and DS Harvest Moons, one of which is literally a "New Harvest Moon": Innocent Life: Shin Bokujou Monogatari for the PSP, announced at the end of September, is in development at ArtePiazza, and will give you a farm in an idyllic island setting, with lots of towns to visit by bike and even a volcano. Probably not to visit though. The other, Rune Factory: Shin Bokujou Monogatari for the DS, is a bit weird for a Moon title, but we're curious about it anyway. Developed by Neverland, the idea is that you live in a fantasy world where you capture and raise monsters on your farm, and then add them to your adventuring party. Which you lead with a sword. Very peculiar. It doesn't say if you'll be able to go fishing, but you better! Shin Bokujou Monogatari sounds like a pared down version of Pokemon with more emphasis on breeding and less on capturing. Plus you can wade in yourself, which you cant with pokemon. Have to keep an eye on that one *my comments in bold
