  1. I'm having the same issue. Missing DLC: LAXH LAXI for saves from this afternoon. The ones from yesterday are fine though, interestingly enough. Between those and today, all I did was to land at Neketaka and clear about half the tomb under temple of Berath. Saved game, updated, aaaaaand missing dlc. Version on the menu says V4.0.1.0041 LAX123ABCDEFG -steam
  2. I've just run into the wing flapping sound problem at Engwithan Digsite. It's ridiculously loud, covering Xoti's dialogue and everything. Doubt it's working as intended.
  3. That's pretty much my only issue with it... I progress the dialogue right when the narrator goes "she s..." since that bit is not usually in the text. It would be a neat feature to have individual voice slider for the narrator like D:OS2, but I would rate this way down on the priority list for improvements/new content personally. I mean it makes sense to spend the time to isolate narration and create a separate slider for it in D:OS2 where the narrator reads freakin everything. But in PoE2, voiced narration doesn't even remotely have the same presence to demand immediate action. ...in my opinion.
  4. No matter what the benefits of other races may be, I have a really hard time playing anything other than human (or maybe elf if I push it). Just can't get attached to other races as the main character for long. First playthroughs are always human. After 3 human playthroughs, I've made an Old Vailian female pale elf with slave background. RP'd her as someone kidnapped at young age by O.Vailian explorers/slavers who visited The White that Wends and used as an exotic-looking servant, as a rare status symbol of sorts... Made choices around stopping exploitation of locals. That was fun. :D
  5. If 2h full attacks could compete somehow with dual full attacks I'd use them. As is, backstabbing with WotEP's run through is the only use I have for 2h weapons.
  6. Sacred immolation is the only thing that I don't like about paladins at the moment. Doesn't feel worth its cost. ...then again, I never liked abilities that hurt the user anyway so it may just be me being irrational.
  7. I've started a wizard playthrough and came across this issue multiple times. When enemies in the backline not engaged by any allies are attacked, they move towards their attacker, completely ignoring other creatures in the way. If the path is blocked they move their allies out of the way, sometimes out of AoE spells and more. Here is an example This is not limited to 1 enemy moved either. Eder can engage 4 enemies but one creature in the back can move all 4 of them out of the way to go for the wizard in the back. Companions have no trouble blocking each other in the same situation (they try to move around allies), so why is that not the case with the enemies? It's like enemies just don't stick to the floor properly or something. Anyone else has this issue? Edit: After some testing, I noticed companions also doing this occasionally. It's like when characters engage something they become attached to that rather than the floor.
  8. I was checking out the patch notes and read "characters should no longer get stuck in loading animations". Is that related to the endless reloading issue? (Haven't had time to get back in and test yet)
  9. My Ghost Heart ranger had this bad. Every time I summoned the companion, I'd have to turn on the AI again or the bear would just sit there doing nothing. Same thing happens when you remove Maia from the party and get her back in again later. Pet AI turns off.
  10. I have a bear companion named Bipolar. Wish I could color him white somehow.
  11. Interesting. Has anybody checked if it has to be a companion your in a romance with? No it doesn't have to be that. I sacrificed Konstanten and I hadn't spent more than 5 minutes with him in my party before that. Companions and sidekicks are ok I think. Yea you get a doll or something, summons Effigy of Skean if I remember right. It's not a bad summon.
  12. They try pretty hard at Ashen Maw but it just doesn't work against Eothas. What makes the Watcher special is that Eothas is actually listening to us. I mean not everything we say but he considers our word at least. Gods are probably trying to take advantage of that, not piss us off too much and influence us so we can influence Eothas. That's the feeling I got. That's only Magran though, isn't it? And she says something like she's gonna kill the watcher while doing it. They suck as gods if the lot of them together can't stop one guy and they need to manipulate a crappy mortal to do it. In the end they unintentionally prove what Eothas is trying to prove, i.e. that the gods are pointless and kith can do without them, at least that's what I thought he meant. Magran starts it with the eruption. Then Ondra sends in the waves. I don't think anyone else joins in since they are divided on what to do with him, if I remember right. Edit: I think he had a Kraken hanging off his shoulder after the waves in the description, which was pretty funny to me :D

That's the feeling I got. that's the impression we get..but then the ending come and you get and do nothing . Yea, he still does his thing with the wheel, but at least you can push how he directs his own essence after that. I mean that's more than anyone else can do about the situation, including other gods. Edit: I had him bolster animancers and create a golden age of sorts in one run, create a safe haven for souls stuck in between in another for example.

  15. That's all it does? No backlash? From the god of resentment (among other things)? See that's what I'd have expected Skean to do. :D Or maybe give the whole crew diarrhea for a year. Kinda disappointing that there's no retribution of any kind.
