  1. But it's not fair, I was supposed to add 8$ to get into the Order and I didn't while everyone else in the Order did. I can't figure out how to give a non-tier amount via PayPal. Is it possible to give only 10$ or should I just give 25$?
  2. ... I didn't know that. D: I completely misunderstood it, I thought as long as the amount above your tier is 8$ or greater, you can join the Order. If I'd known that I have to add 8$ on top of my +20$ for the expansion, I would have! Well, my name is already on the list of to-be-added-to-the-Order so I will immediately go and donate another 8$ via PayPal. I hope that counts. edit: Great, and my title was actually changed. Now I feel like crap. I'll donate 10$ via PayPal to make up for this.
  3. On a completely unrelated note, due to sleep deprivation, I don't think I will ever stop reading your name as "DocDoomil".
  4. I don't see what's so problematic about Green Shirt Girl. Sure, there were idiots among the crowd, but aren't there always. Personally I thought, that whole nasty thing aside, it was in good spirit and the Obsidian folk certainly seemed to think so, too. I would love to see it referenced in the game. But we must not forget Fedora Guy, or at least fedora.
  5. I guess this proves it. Kickstarter - a better love story than Twilight.
  6. Must've updated after the end somehow, I copy-pasted that value straight from the Kickstarter page after the campaign was over.
  7. Here's the (current, because PayPal is still open for donations) exact official breakdown: KS: 3,986,794 $ PayPal: 140,099 $ KS + PayPal: 4,126,893 $
  8. This. A million times this. (Except it's "Schafer", but you seem drunk so I'll forgive you). First, there was Tim Schafer. A talented genius desparate to make another adventure game, who turned to Kickstarter for help, got burried in a buttload of money in return and proved that it can work. Trendsetter of the best trend the gaming world has seen in the entire history of gaming. Then there is Obsidian. A group of talented geniuses desperate to make another old-style PROPER cRPG, who decided to take that same route, got burried in a buttload of money as well, and once again re-proved that it can work and that what happened with Double Fine Adventure and Wasteland 2 is definitely far from an accident. And then there's everyone who's actually been willing to donate to these projects. It's beautiful.
  9. Well, my dear fellows of the Order of the Obsidian of Awesomeness, I am off to pass out. *zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz*
  10. It's the cooountdooown paaaartyyyy... *tututuuuuun tuuuuun.... tututuutuutuuuuuuun...*
  11. I'm sorry we missed you. There has been a boost in numbers (>100) and a closed thread between dlux last update and when I took over. May I ask once again for your title? It's ok, no probsies. :> My title is "The Runner of the Obsidian Order".
  12. Eh... will I be pumelled to death if I ask who this dlux fellow is? Everybody keeps talking about him and I have no idea what's going on. D:
  13. Yeah, the whole thing was very exciting. "Oh, you're being even more awesome? Let me throw some more money at you then..." XD Anyway, as it may be seen from my Kickstarter profile that I linked to, I would like my title to be "The Runner of the Obsidian Order", appropriately. I checked and I haven't seen it taken by anyone.
  14. Indeed, I'm at the 80$ tier but I'm giving 100$. I actually started off at the 20$ tier. HA!
  15. I presume I can get in on this if I've upgraded my pledge by more than 8$? My KS profile
  16. That would be very cool indeed... especially if our characters had to take the time to learn a certain language in order to interact with a group of NPCs. It's something i've always wanted to see in a fantasy RPG, but as far as I know, it's only ever been touched on very lightly. There is a character whose "language" you have to figure out in order to be able to converse with them in SW:KotOR.
