Another guy that whant to do copy and paste of BG .... I think the only think they should take from BG is exploration system, open world and mayby some classes or races. (BG also has interestin storyline but this should not copy) But back to the topic, i think the best interface i seen was in Warcraf 3 when we started game the first thing that we saw wasanimated landscape after the battle, when you stated human campain you see human guard in "City" when undead a ich in iceterrain, elf campain ? Elf in woods. the best inferfaces i think are animated interfeces even with some kind of low cinematic .. that whould be awsome but i let obsidian desin their own.

I think there will be at least a feature when you steal and a guard sees it hi will fight you, put to jail or something like it. Abaut giulid system im not sure they will put this tooo much of an effort mayby becouse they basicly whan't to "clone BG with extra features and content" and all BG, Icewind dale characters were much more independent than in Gothic. In Gothic your character coudn't even push storyline foreword if he don't join special gulid. So in BG game player where more afecting the world then world where affeting him, in Gothic is totaly difrent world much more affecting player then player when affecting the world. I am fan of BG and Gothic an it whould by nice to see not only charater affecting world (BG) but also world affectiong character (Gothic) thay need to balance it properly so they will propably put it asaide. And don't expect quick constructiv and valuable answer many of member of this forum are BG fan boys that are affraid of anythig new they just whant to clone BG nothing more or they just more interested in "leveling ups" then lure and plot of the game. of coure not all of them there all allso frendly and inteligent peaople but they respond a little bit slower ....

By watching world map I noticed some possibilities. The south-West Posibility for traveling in this direction from the bay of crowns to a risen-type island/continent like Bahamas. Or even dessert island. The West Posibility from Pearlwood gulf or Telaner or road's end, for some kind of England or Irlend type of climate, of coure risen type is still posible (it all goes down to clime) The North-West Echo Bay. It's still posible for an england type of island/continent but also some kind of Scandinavian type of island, mayby even posible that island lokated there may have viking type locals.

I must say that i alway love D&D games like BG, NWN, Icewind Dale etc. But somtimes the Prologs of this games was realy disapoining (in my opinion). Let's take NWN 2 for exampe. YOu created our character and then you land in sobe house in West Harbor. You are a man from the small village. You pick up driud class and ..... and problem. HOW you obtain you druid abilitis ? In West Harbor was no driud tu teach you ? Bisides Druids don't live in big citys, they live in forest .... So you go to a conclusion that you will play paladin .... bumm... second problem .. there are no paladins in hest harbor .. agoin who thech you this kind of abilitis ? The come fron thin air ? But for mages there was an option tho than "mages student biografy" and then 1 of lokal mages becomes your teacher. You abylitis are justyfide by this mage, when you aske your self "How i abain that mage class?" ... the answer was "Tarmas show you some tricks" etc. That was simply not realistic, samtimes i felt that my character comes from moon. There are few ideas of fiksing this unseanseably issu 1 Class obtaining thru the story line Let's say that you edit everything BUT you charatcer class, you always start as "undefined" class at the begining with no abylitis (or with abilitis that all classes has) and thhen you must lat's say join some gild for obtaining it for mages - mages gulid, for paladins - paladin orders, druids - druids "gulid" (you whould propably need to leave the city). Then you must do same quests and when you done you get fully nominated for you first class and you luses "Undefined" becomeing new. 2. Difrant orgins of you character according to class. (dragon age orgins) This is secoud option, you can start game, chose your class but when you do this you will start in difrent circumstances. 3. Choiceing or creating biography. This way of explanation for the presence of your character and you abylitis we seen in BG, NWN and Ice wind dale. In my opinion it worked for some classes (those that could be larned from 1 person and not need to join organisations). Fighter, rouge, mage, bard, wizard and soucerer lived with it but classes like druids, clerics, hunters, paladins or even barberians not so well in my opinion. In my opinion it fulfills its primary role, but it was not a solution to our chaaracters beginnings of our characters and the biography as it should. 4. Explaining charakter class and knowledge/ talents by presence of proper teachers. This type of solution we seen in NWN 2 when we played as mage, then whe got you techer Mage named Tarmas that was teaching from chilhood. It's good option but again no all of the classes. Druid still will feel that he don't belong to the pleace. If you had your own thaout or solution to this problem please please share your thoughts with us. Thank you.

I found some pictures fron Risen 2 Dark Waters, i think that whould be awsome if they put this type of content in Eternity besides we alrady know that there will be piretes. Example for isalnd and Pirate fight Nextr example for island and ship And a exapmle for Oriental Monsters.

You know there are many types of continents an islands, even desert like and im sure they can have oasis, the climates can by very diffren even a snow island is possible. Im sure climate can be wery diffrent of any island we have british isles, and bahamas totaly difrent.

Whould you travel renting boat/ ship or even HAVING you own ship ? Whould you like to fight a pirates an a sea battle ? Do you like an idea of NEW coninet ? To travel unknown land ? Fighing lokals or exotic beasts ? Whould you like to drink a bottle of rum, arrrrrrr The idea of new land/ continent got to me when i saw a new strech goal "Big city 2", it's perfect oportunity to discuss about increase the known limits of maps. The posobilitis of this expanion are BIG .. new type of monsters, new type of quests, new exploration abylitis, sea battels, sea exploration and more more more ... I invite you to discusion. When they publicated a new race name one of coments was So that mean that at least that people are losing confidence in obsidan ceativity. I don mind orlans as a race i am just loseing confindence in obsidian that they don't even know haw think proper name for RACE. (i Npc where named ugaguga it don't bother me) I also think that auauauaua race can bu something diffrent never seend but at least let it had a proper name, at least name that don't sound like fart. Ok i understand that, but find in this forum at least ONE post that new race should be named "Orlans" or "AUAUAYA" Before they anouced it in updates. This are their (obsidian) ideas not ours, if they don't even put any work for see our ideas and thay starting to act like we don't exist then it is source of problems. They don't even Asked us if we like this name, it seams that this game is for Obsidian not for US. And when i say US i mean players who had their OWN opinion and they don't eat anythin that obsidian prepare for them but can ask at least "What am i Eating ?" And "Orlans" came from what ? Folklore ? Oranguthans ? or what ? They don't even put ANY effort to see if WE like thins name. They put it becouse they whant to put it nothing more. For a pc rpg like PE I agree, but in general for the games they're made for they work perfectly. I would never want to hear Final Fantasy music in my infinity engine games that's for sure. No becouse it don't fitt. This music was desined for make reactor not wood, citys or tawern.

If why don't start acting critic on their mistakes, soon they will come to spit on our face and we still will be saying that's only a rain..... This is 4 obsidian mistakes, first orlans (almost like orlean), then auauauaua name, bullets that are inafected by magic and mage COMMONLY wer plate armor for protection, and Cipher class name ... is this name have ANY connetion tu Cipher ? ... Its ONLY a begginig .. if they still whon't lern from they mistakes and not coract it we will not have cross beetween Arcanum/BG and Planescape but cros between NWN2/Dragon age 2 and oblivion If you think that name of RACE is not important then, what name is ? Even a good game with randomly named elemets (witch no connetion to anything) is worthless becouse names are only a begining "EVERYthing must be connectet to Everything that colled a lure or game world" if we will by make every part random, independent elements we will not get 1 world but 10000000000000000 not connectet random elemets. You can't ceate a GOOD WORLD if part's of it are chosen randomly ... Have anywone of you asked question "WHY THIS NAME ? and not other ?!"

I played only 2 (mayby 3) JRPG games FF7, FF8 and 3 i don't remember. I played ARCANUM, BG, Gothic 1-2-2NR-3, NwN 1, NWN 2, NWN2 Mask of B, Icewind Dale 2 and many many many more CRPG's and ARPG's. So basiacly i'm RPG (all kinds) player. YOUR opinin is worthless, narrowminded and offending. I liked Arcanum but music was his big problem. If you compere Arcanum music to eny other game music (even Skyrim) you will see how much it has been week. Acranum was great but chis music has level of today's pokemon music or something like this, it was awfull. I personaly played Arcanum, and move on. Your evolution propobly started and ended on Arcanum an it's OK im sorry for you but it is your problem not mine. But saying that someone else opinion is worthless (especialy in game music) becouse they played JRPG shows only your childlish level. I hate BG or Other Funboys (especialy narrowminded fanatics) who think that there is only one game and any other gamers are for imbecils, that only shows your hidden problems. Beouse of you The imege of RPG-fans is not wery good, becouse of some Fanatics opinion of all else go's dawn.
