Article about 2005 for RPGs
Let me guess: as the world's only The Action Game of 2004 fan and a potential buyer of the collector's edition your feelings were hurt?

KOTOR is just too easy...
I'll never comprehend Pelit magazine's love for Bioware's games nor why they give such low scores to Troika's and Obsidian's games.

Bloodlines is making me Angry
By the way, we had the same discussion almost precisely a year ago when Bloodlines was released.

Bloodlines is making me Angry
Except that they were willing to take the blame for all the problems in those games. They have said that more than once. But if someone asked them why more patches weren't being released, they didn't want to lie and not say it was the publisher's decision. And even if they were unable to make polished products in the time given to them, so were their publishers' QA teams incompetent. Releasing clearly unfinished products isn't a sign of a good publisher either.

You would be right if you weren't wrong.

Wow. I don't know why, but I had memories of that being quite a fun thread. I had forgotten the level of stupidity, however, and had to stop reading after the first page. I'm now struggling to regain my mental stability. ---------------------- Age of Decadence is going to rock

But that's *so* old... I could read it again, though. It's solid entertaiment.

Dave Maldonado working on StarCraft: Ghost
No, I think Puuk did the goblin fortress.

Dave Maldonado working on StarCraft: Ghost
The Pillar of Skulls and Dead Nations are his best work.

Dave Maldonado working on StarCraft: Ghost
Dave didn't do Severed Hand. It was designed by Puuk and someone else. IIRC Dave did Wandering Village, Monastery and Underdark.

Good Rpg's
Arcanum is a classic. It has a big, immersive world where you can role-play many different kinds of characters from dwarven technologists to elven magicians and idiotic half-ogres who can barely speak.

New Might & Magic game unveiled at GC?
Every major publisher has released bad RPGs. Trying so hard to remember what happened to single game years ago isn't very clever, so you might want to come up with a better opinion.

New Might & Magic game unveiled at GC?
Er, what do we know about the setting? DN says it will be a M&M game in name only, which, to me, gives a good reason to believe that Arkane might very well be developing something as atmospheric and refreshing as the world of Arx.

So you read what Digital Nightfall wrote but decided to believe the press release instead? The same press release that says interesting things like: "It is also the world

Baldurs Gate TUTU
I didn't have enough memory (or whatever it's called) to do a full install of BG1. I was so looking forward to being able to play BG1 (my third favourite game) with higher resolution and faster walking speed.

Gamespot Rumor: Troika shutting its doors
Even with all its flaws AoSAMO is my favorite role-playing game. It would be a shame for Troika to die without making a sequel or something similiar to it. I had as much fun with D&D:TToEE - ACGA as I had with IWD2 and VtM:B is overall about as good as KotOR. Troika has proved that they can make intriguing storylines (Arcanum and maybe Bloodlines), good combat (TToEE), interesting NPCs (Arcanum and Bloodlines), atmospheric areas (Arcanum, Bloodlines) and role-playing options (Arcanum, some parts of Bloodlines and TToEE because of its non-linearity and multiple endings).

"Night Watch"
A Classic Greyhawk Adventure sold quite well. It was Atari's third (or second) best-selling PC game in 2003 or something.
