@majesticI meant to ask this earlier: How do you cook your blood sausage? I pan fry with onions.

Maybe Amari Cooper has been hanging out with your boy Rodgers.

The midwest has some delicious food. Prepare to gain weight, though.

I love avocados too, it's just a stereotype I was playing off of to make a lame joke. Listen, I live in the south, we're the butt of jokes all the time, so I'm going to needle folks from the west coast, the midwest, and especially the northeast, since I used to live there, whenever the opportunity presents itself.

That might be the most California thing you've ever typed on this board.

The deviled eggs were so delicious that I went ahead and used the rest of the dozen today to make more. Granted, I don't really have a ton of options of what to do with eggs in my truck. I didn't bring a frying pan, just a small pot with a lid to use on the small hot plate I have. Anyway, I'm curious what folks mix in with the egg yolks. I use a fairly standard recipe: Lots of mayo, a little mustard, and a little horseradish, plus the customary sprinkle of paprika on top after the filling is in the egg. Side note: I'm not sure how available it is in other parts of the country, much less internationally, but Duke's mayonnaise is the best. It's made in Richmond, VA and you can find it everywhere in the Virginias and Carolinas, but I haven't really noticed it in other places. You can toss Hellmann's in the trash, Duke's is better and usually the same price, if not cheaper, and Miracle Whip was made by either a lunatic or a psychopath, that stuff is vile. Anyway, does anyone put anything else in their deviled eggs?

I hadn't realized there was anyone left at all at BioWare from the Baldur's Gate days

After DA2, DA:I, ME3, ME: Andromeda, and Anthem, the phrase "up to BioWare's standards" doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

The Genbu shows up after you start the Gold Dragon's Arrival side quest by talking to Huang Long aka Kohryu at the top of the mountain. Genbu aka Xuanwu is one of the 4 gods you are asked to defeat and the only one you can at this point. I'm assuming I'm further along than you are since it sounds like you are still in the first area of Da'at, Minato, while I'm a decent chunk of the way through Shinagawa. I recently took a trip back to Minato at lev 30 (I'm now lev 31) with the express purpose of finding out if I'm strong enough to face any of the other 3 gods. Turns out, nope, not even close. As an aside, I left a couple of the petrified demons whose power you can absorb in Minato, plus the one I've found so far in Shinagawa, unused. I think those don't give a set amount of exp but rather raise every demon in your stock up 1 level, which will be super nice with level 70 or whatever demons. Similarly, I haven't touched the 1 gospel (instant level up for Nahobino) I've found so far, saving that for level 70+ when leveling takes a quadrillion XP. Edit: As an aside, if you haven't already then get the Knowledge of Tools miracle ASAP. Thank me later.

It took the New York Giants a significantly shorter span of time to fire Princeton Red than it took muh Boys.

Out of curiosity, is there anything tied to Win11 as an incentive to upgrade? In the past, Microsoft has sometimes tied a new version of DirectX to a new version of Windows in an effort to force incentivize people to buy the new Windows. Is there a DirectX 13 or DirectX 12 Super Duper tied to Win11?

Deviled Eggs:
-
I expected going the physical build route in SMT V that I would be sucking until around level 40 or so, since that's when the good physical skills start appearing, in my experiences. Turns out, my boy Beefstik has become strong much earlier than that (currently lev 27). I got Sakanagi from an Aogami essence. Sakanagi is a single target medium power almighty physical attack. The nice thing about almighty damage is that essentially nobody resists, nulls, nor drains it. On the flip side, nobody is weak against it either, thus you can't generate extra turns by hitting a weakness with almighty. However, since this is a physical skill, rather than a magical one, not only does it use strength as a modifier to damage (as opposed to magic) but it can also critical like a normal physical attack, and thus generate an extra turn that way. Magic skills cannot critical outside of Omagatoki: Critical AFAIK. Also, I picked up the Almighty Mastery 1 miracle, so it's now Sakanagi +1. Anyway, what all that means is that Sakanagi +1 cannot be resisted by anyone and because of my physical build I do a good bit of damage with it.

Not sure if this belongs here or in the TV & Streaming thread because it's on Netflix but it's also a movie, so... I watched Red Notice. It was a perfectly cromulent mindless adventure movie. The Rock was his usual charismatic self, Ryan Reynolds was his usual charismatic self, and Gal Gadot... Well, she was in the movie. The plot was paper thin and frayed at the edges, but it was an acceptable excuse for hijinks and adventure stuff to happen. I turned my brain off for 2 hours and was mildly entertained. I'll completely forget about it in a week.

2 of the last 3 weeks our offense has been worthless, and the 1 week we lit the other team up was against a team that isn't even trying any more and wasn't any good to begin with. I'm at a concern level of 6/10.

The Cowboys receiver corps made the interesting decision to wear the same butter-coated gloves they used in the blowout loss to the Broncos. Bold move!
-
The Bills were one of the pre-season favorites to go to the superbowl BIG GAME and they're still technically tied for the division lead, but, and I can't believe I'm actually typing this, the Pats look like the best team in the AFC East. (Holy run-on sentence, Batman!)

I'd like to take a moment to dispel any and all rumors that Beefstik has 6 fingers on his hand.
-
That explains it. I haven't done a single compendium fusion yet.

SMT V's second boss:
-
How in the world did you not have enough money? I've got so much macca that it's comical. Have you been doing compendium fusions? Those get really expensive. Have you been selling off your relics to Gustave? If not then you should, they serve no purpose other than to be sold AKAIK.

That's why so many pornstars have natural breasts these days; they can't get fun bags because scalpers are buying them all up.

When I got to the Tokyo Diet Building I found a demon a bit off the beaten path offering to mark all remaining Miman on my map for 2500 macca. Given that I had roughly 50k at the time, I gladly took him up on his offer. I decided to go through the entire map and get the few Miman I had missed exploring on my own. I hadn't missed any in the very early portion of the map, but I decided to start at the very first layline fount and go through the entire map since Amanozako will find new stuff even in areas previously visited. Every time she waves her arms and yells "Hey hey hey," I'm hoping that when I talk to her she says "Oh crap," rather than "See, you found something nice." Oh crap means a battle with a very high chance of Mitama. I'm hoping for a blue Mitama, since they're the ones that drop glory crystals. Anyway, I get to the part where Aogami initially warned me to steer clear of the giant rock golem. I had gained at least 10 levels since then and there's a layline fount very close so I got curious, saved my game, and decided to find out what rocky is all about. Turns out he's level 48. I'm level 21 so... Yeah.

I'm becoming more and more convinced that this is the new normal, that scalpers buying up all the stock via bots and silicone shortages , much like COVID, are just something we're going to have to live with going forward. The days of being able to simply walk into a store and grab a graphics card off a shelf or go to Newegg or whatever and buy one at MSRP, those days are over, never mind the fact that the MSRPs themselves are getting out of control even faster than inflation, which itself is getting out of control.

I'm in the same boat where I'll be interested in Switch Deck 2: Electric Boogaloo with a custom Zen 5/RDNA 4 APU in 5 years, assuming the OG Steam Deck is successful enough for Valve to make another one.
