They definitely removed the option to have it off by default. I don't really give a flying fig newton about their "news" function because I spend entirely too much time online and probably already know about all the stuff the feed is telling me about. I just want to play the game, I don't need a huge frelling ad telling me about the DLC I already bought/downloaded.

Getting the same "installation failed: disk access problem" error. I downloaded the patch last night, and it failed. Then I re-downloaded it after getting home from work, and it failed again. I don't want to have to re-download the entire game, since I have garbage-tier internet so it'd take me a large part of the weekend. Also, I have over 600GB free, so I doubt it's a space issue. EDIT: So I verified the game cache and that seemed to have fixed everything. Go figure.

Where's the "they all suck" option? I guess my favourite is Eothas, because his plan shafts the rest of the petty children, but all the rest of them can go fcuk themselves.

Someone did a watercolour of the only decent male island aumaua portrait I've ever been able to find back on page 5 of this thread.

During character creation if I initially create a wild orlan, get to the CUSTOMIZATION section and then change to another race, I am then unable to select the HEAD tab of the CUSTOMIZATION section. The only way to solve this is to leave character creation and start a new game. There's no issue if I initially select another race, switch to wild orlan, and then switch back, or if I switch races before reaching the CUSTOMIZATION section, just when I get there for the first time with a wild orlan.

This is a weird one. It started happening last night, and I didn't think too much of it at the time (if I had, I would've gone back to an old save to see if that solved the problem). My saves show up just fine and I can load them up from the main menu but once I'm actually in the game, trying to load/quickload a game produces a black screen and then nothing happens. The cursor is visible and I can move it around, but the normal loading screen fails to show up and I'm forced to alt-tab out of the game, close the program and re-start to actually load anything, which is a pain because I also have the loud footsteps bug and quicksaving and quickloading is the only solution I've found for that one. This was my very first time playing the game. I created a wild godlike and when I choose Druid for my class, the game froze and then crashed. While the game was frozen, I noticed the Druid's armour was a uniform blue colour, so I'm guessing the texture didn't load properly, but I'm no expert in these things. It's the hair, isn't it? I agree. Here's my rendition of a better Forton (feel free to use this for the final game Obsidian) Yeah, that's much more better.

I hope they do NOT include vancian magic; it's one of the few thing aboot D&D I cannot stand.
