I don't believe there is anything you could call "fantasy music", since what people usually define as that is more accurately described as orchestral. -

There's a undertone in that answer, its not even an actual answer to the question itself. So why did he answer that way? @Casey Edwards: Like your stuff. Sounds good I just interpreted as typical "Need to give an answer but we can't/won't give a good one out yet". -

I just listened to "War Among the Stars"...and if you were to be the composer, I would not have any complaints. Loved the classically influenced stuff. -
Mature Themes?

You do realize there was a great deal more to the Witcher games than the sexualized aspects you just mentioned, right? If they followed in the Witcher's footsteps they would be on the right track in my book. -
Composer for Eternity?

Which means nothing. Companies make use of sound designers for promos like this all the time, and then they go out and find composers. Unless they have an in-house composer, in which case he will likely do both promos and write the score. -

Am I the only one here whom would love Lennie Moore? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIjwkdk1VNs -
I can help. Over the summer I arranged the .mp3 files into a formal soundtrack, complete with a nice cover. Email me with proof that you have the game, and I'll send you a link. doublehex168 at gmail dot com.

Don't know where you saw that. I have seen more in the 12-15 hour category.

I had no problems with KB+M.

I had a great time with the PC version, and considering it is probably just as good with Consoles, I'd say go with the official platform of the "Gaming Master Race".
-
I'm a PC "purist" too because consoles are a bane to the gaming industry, they are the reason Crysis 2 has now worse textures than 4 year old Crysis 1, they are the reason for complete standstill for years in graphics and physics. Consoles are antithesis to progress. Let's be fair - Crysis 2 was still a beautiful game, and you only noticed those worse graphics if you actually went looking for it. The reason I stopped playing it wasn't because of the "bad" graphics, but because it was a bore.

Hey, I am a hardcore PC Gamer. I play *all* of my games on the PC. If it doesn't come out for PC, I don't play it. This guy is beyond troll. He is just a deluded fanboy. He goes beyond me and my fellow Fallout 3 haters - he just makes crap up. I don't mind him not liking DSIII - hell, it creates a conversation. What I do mind is that he has no reason to hate it, other than it is not Dungeon Siege II. Is that a flaw? Sure. But this does not have "broken gameplay", "filler dialogue", and lack of mouse support.
-
How is this dumbed down? Dungeon Siege 1 and 2 is pretty much "click and watch things die", and requires almost no input whatsoever. The games would practically play themselves. Dungeon Siege III is an incline in this category: you have to consider how to use your abilities, and you are rewarded for making use of both of your stances. On Hardcore, you actually need to take every fight into consideration. They turned a bunch of boring games into interesting ones. So, I call bullcrap on what you just said. How so? You use the mouse to move and aim. Yes, you use 1-6 for special attacks, and E to interact, but I fail to see that as an issue. Again, bullcrap. The story is good, and has many references to Buddhist and Hindu religion, which is unique within a Western Fantasy setting. The story also has the theme of Death/Rebirth, and most of the events in the game can be applied to this theme. As for conversations; most of them are again, well written. The Automotons are funny, and I liked the sarcastic noble Issac and the playfully practical Katarina. The voice acting team did a great job for the major characters, while there is some weak points for the side quest characters here and there. By ruining, you must mean improvement, yes? With KOTOR II they added further customizability to your characters, added the Influence system that practically every RPG since has copied, and arguably the best Star Wars story in the whole damn franchise. With NWN 2, they gave us a full party from the start, more classes, sub-race support, and with the MOTB expansion pack gave us the best story out of the series. They redeemed the Fallout name with New Vegas, and again they have turned a game that pretty much played itself into a game of tactics. Oh, and DSIII actually has a story and let's your roleplay.

Okay, so I followed the instructions over at the awesome MixnMojo site on how to acquire the KOTOR II soundtrack, and everythign went great except the HQ Movie Patch didn't have the Credits.bik movie needed to extract the Credits.MP3 file. Can anyone send me either the movie or the mp3 itself? My email is doublehex@gmail.com

yeah, that's what kept me from being DS. Even in Fable, I almost kinda felt bad for killing random merchants.

I love big fights. It's just something about them thta makes them seem so epic. But yeah, I agree that it shouldnt be a big mess.

TeamXbox Top Ten Games of Fall 2004
Doublehex replied to envida's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Ok, first I am a nintenod fan. Some what. I'm more into Pc than either Xbox or Gc. Anyways, I don't know why evreyone hates nintendo so much? Nintendo makes some of the best first party games out there, unlike Xbox(no offense). Now, to get back on topic to the top ten thing, I am pleased that KOTOR II got second place, but I hope it actually beats Halo 2 for Goty. Now, I don't hate halo, I like it just as much as the other guy, but I'm so tired of saying: 'Woot! Oh ya mother****, halo 2 is gonna kick all your sorry *****!' -
The revean revelation, because I was born after the original triliogy, and I heard 'I am your father' a million and one times.

I for one whould love the power of choice in future rpgs. I whould of loved to have killed Malak on the Levithan, or stop the duestruction of that planet. I love having choices in games. It might be too late now dor KOTOR 2, but maybe they'll implement it in KOTOR 3, or the rumored Knights of the New Republic.
