  1. Wow, I see a huge discussion here Well, here's what I have to say. I ONLY buy PC games from GOG.com these days, or on a special, extremely rare occasions (like upcoming X-Com) get meself a box (still sadly often tied to blasted steam).
  2. I'm dreaming about table top Eternity pen and paper RPG somewhere in the future. Might be a good bonus for, say, 3 Million on Kickstarter? =)))
  3. [whispers in Rorschach voice] NO Sorry, couldn't help it Ouroboros is an ancient symbol (it's hard to believe, I know, but it is older then Elder Scrolls series) and one which suits something called project Eternity perfectly.
  4. I think that in such a deep game there will be different romances available. It can combine an amazon nympho character and stone cold traumatized beauty and passionate insanely jealous lesbian rogue and feeling incredibly guilty gay elf ranger. As long as it is good I don't care. But please, PLEASE, do at least a single "normal" girl which falls in love with crazy main character! I'm really tired of situations normal character - crazy girl. I want to be a bit crazy with girl stopping me from madness, not vise verse!!!!
  5. Btw - in case there will be firearms in the game - OF COURSE there should be a Gunslinger!!!
  6. Well, it seems classes are in. I prefer the skill-based (no classes) systems myself, but I won't be too disappointed in case there will be an opportunity to create good fighter with high Intelligence (or Charisma) to do the talking. What I'm trying to say - the main goal is to have a balanced and flexible system, which allows to create and play character I want. The rest are details ) In my case the ideal class would be something like Fencer - a sell sword used as a bodyguard.
  7. Mark Morgan is the man. Seriously, I LOVE what Lennie Moore or Jeremy Soule do, but since we are talking about ideal mature RPG here, I can not imagine anyone but Mark Morgan creating music for this project. (please remember, that everything I post here - is my personal opinion!)
  8. Actually it was not the game for me. In my case even if I saw just a youtube video filmed from iPhone, where Tim Cain OR Chris Avellone said something like "Hey guys, I plan to take part in RPG creation. Can't give you the details right now but I need $10.000.000" I still would be there with my credit card
  9. Hey guys, since Eternity is the first Kickstarter project on which I'm spending money, I've decided to join the discussion From my experience people usually use "hardcore" to define two completely different things: 1. Bad design. That's when a player has to struggle against interface problems, stupid level design or ridiculously strong monsters in the plain encounter like huge open space with a horde of enemies (their stats increased simply because designers were too lazy to plan and prepare a good fight). 2. Hard to beat encounters. Fights which require solid knowledge and use of your party abilities, preparation and planning. You might also have to use your brain =) I'm definitely pro Hardcore 2 and strictly contra Hardcore 1 =))
