  1. Trying the Keep on the Borderlands mod in the old ToEE game I re-purchased from GoG. (I couldn't get my disk-based install to run properly.) It's a bit grindy and not quite 100% polished, but is playable and I'm enjoying using the turn-based engine for combat again.
  2. Vizima had a decent, atmospheric environment. I like the people finding cover in the rain and the birds that flew off as you approached.
  3. Still waiting on those CRISPR hogs, so we can have CRISPR bacon.

They are no longer allowed to call themselves "America's Team". As if they ever were. 😛
  5. Physicists Have Identified a Metal That Conducts Electricity But Not Heat It's like some strange alien metal out of Area 51. 🤔
  6. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
  7. In this setting souls are part of reality, so a scientist would recognize that and perform research accordingly. It might be interesting to have a cold-blooded Vithrack scientist available as a support character.
  8. Rather than a full-blown PoE3, I almost think they should try something lighter as an interlude. Like a mid-length story centered around a specific character in a new environment. They could hire a writer to develop the character. A party of just a couple of characters (the main PC and a side kick) would be easier to write, voice, and animate. The battles would be smaller and could be more meaningful.
  9. Runs away...
  10. Elon Musk’s Starlink Satellites Are Already Causing a Headache for Astronomers " Scientists will likely have to get used to these sorts of disruptions, as regulating bodies aren’t lending a sympathetic ear."
