  1. Nerfing a product so it behaves according to the design specs... otherwise known as engineering. Yeah, who would do that?
  2. Kangaroo Rat Delivers a Ninja-Like Spinning Kick to Drop Rattlesnake Clearly a high level monk class critter with improved evasion.
  3. Scientists Find Fossilized Fish That May Have Been Blasted by Debris From Asteroid That Ended the Dinosaur Age
  4. AI needs to be fixed then.
  5. And that's why Steam reluctance to curate their platform and relaying on users and algorithms to do everything for them doesn't work. It's a platform filled with misleading, broken or irrelevant content. Given that Steam is getting a 30% cut, they should be strongly incentivized to remove crufty reviews that add no information and potentially decrease sales. But what do I know?
  6. Do you have an example of where that behavior actually ruined a crowdfunding game? Usually crowdfunded games fail because the developers get too ambitious or have poor business skills, and thus run out of funds.
  7. I can live with bugs, as long as they get fixed in a few months.
  8. The nullification of Cronau radiation through reversed charge hypermatter.
  9. More than one reality exists, shocking study says Nothing actually new here, but what I really appreciate is the irony of this coming from Fox News, our alternate reality news source.
  10. Scientists grow 'mini-brain on the move' that can contract muscle I don't know about you, but to me that sounds like the opening scene for a 1950s sci-fi monster movie.
  11. Tropical Tectonic Collisions May Have Unleashed Ancient Ice Ages I looked but I didn't see where they mapped specific geological features with the ice ages.
  12. Scientists 'Clear' Alzheimer's Plaque From Mice Using Only Light And Sound Interesting result, even if it doesn't work out for humans.
  13. The game was the tale of Hawke being retold from Varric's perspective; a rogue and a storyteller. So yeah, the enemies just seemed to keep falling from the sky.
  14. Perhaps. Didn’t play it after playing Deadfire. It was certainly way better than PoE1. In many respects, my sense was that White March was intended as a nostalgia trip down Icewind Dale lane, which had a quite a bit of filler combat. I didn't have an issue with that, even though the XP system is (mostly) no longer oriented toward rewarding battle.
  15. On the Panspermian Hypothesis of the Midichlorian Diaspora paper for the Journal of Force Studies.
