i heard of someone who decided to troll the scammers and ended up finding that it wasn't a scam and there really was a huge inheritance in his name talk about taking a blind shot and hitting the bullseye.

That is how you protect your culture and language. It's done deliberately especially in case of kids. shows for children are one thing but movies for older audiences are a big turn off for me if its dubbed. however at times its also the quality of the dub that matters. almost all english dubbed anime for example make me cringe so hard that i want to remove my ears but italian dubbed anime when i watched them in my time in Italy sounded really natural (maybe because the VAs didn't force themselves to imitate their japanese colleagues)

one thing i cannot stand in many countries, is the (imho) bad habit of dubbing everything. can you imagine living in a place where in your entire movie watching life, never once heard the actual voice of an actor or the famous one liners of old action movies? a place where you never heard Arnie say "i'll be back" or "hasta la vista baby" but only a loose translation of it performed by some local voice actor?

the biggest strength and greatest weakness of democracy is that people get the government they deserve... and americans have voted in office some pretty bad governments in the last 60 years that gave a bad name to the country and the people. i.e in the case of 9/11 most people in the world thought "USA gets payback for sticking their guns in everyone's business", before it was conclusively proven that it wasn't the planes that demolished the WTC

Lol, you're the kind of people who enjoy pizza with 6 different kinds of meat on top of it? Yes, I am exactly 'that kind of people' but I myself enjoy cheese pizza the most. When it comes to topings though, I prefer 10 kinds of meat to a raw eggplant that is laying there in the middle of my pizza like a dead rat. bah, tourist area pizzas in italy are pretty bad. if you want good pizza you have to get off the beaten path and find a store in a residential area. i lived there for 6 years and i was pretty much a ninja turtle the entire time

Greece. i like the weather most of the year and the complete disregard for driving laws and speed limits but the economy is **** and it will stay that way for a loooooong time to come... unless i decide to care and join politics to fix it myself. i'd be fine in anywhere that is not too hot or humid except for USA
