I would like to see some "realistic" companions who have a live on their own. In case they are not needed by the player the should decide to live on with their lifes which means that they go anywhere they want, pursue their profession, join other adventurers or hang around in some bar. And if they player wants them to join the crew (after he rejected them the first time) there should be some kind of challenge to get them back on the team: 1. he must find them (by rumors, herald, investigation,....) 2. he must be able to travel to them (perhaps they are currently in a new area) 3. he must be able to persuade them to join the group or even release them from their current profession or duty or some kind of akward situation they're into

I'm in both orders and had to get this into 40 characters. "Walkir, Knight Commander of the Order Order"... I think you have an "order" too many. How about "Knight Commander of the Orders"? About the enemy encounter: the Order is not all evil (although there are some members who are). But there were some times when duels to the death were not be seen evil but honourable. So about an enemy encounter with a group of the Order which will only want to know which group (player's group or the Order) is the best? It would be like a fight to death like in the ancient days of the glorious gladiators.....

I was thinking we'd give extra money on top of our X+$8 pledge. I like the idea to leave the design of the party to Obsidian, though. Yeah, we could do something like that if we have a solution for collecting the funds. An own Kickstarter might be difficult due to legal and time restrictions but some PayPal solution could be possible in the future (in cooperation with Obsidian).

I think even if the Order reaches the 5k tier (for which we need 625 members indeed) and if we manage to control the funding properly we should give the design of the adventurer group in the capable hands of Obsidian. That would be the most elegant way of circumwent struggles between the members and but honestly: we're all die-hard fans of Obsidian games so who's the best candidate to decide about the desgin if not Obsidian themselves?

We talked about that topic recently but we dropped it since it wouldn't be easy to manage and control the real contribution of the single pledges of all the members. Until now the membership in the Obsidian Order is only based on honour and trust so it would be great if Obsidian would give us any tribute in the game (perhaps by designing an adventurer group called Obsidian Order, who knows?) but I don't think it would be a good idea to seek for that "official" 5k tier. At least until somebody has some good idea how to handle that fund collection as you already mentioned.

I tried some kind of a more sophisticated logo for the Order (no offense), hope you like it! The logo is made for the knights branch of the order but can be adapted for other branches for sure!

Don't worry, all these items, npcs and other stuff are made in cooperation and guidance of Obsidian. And I don't think that these hardcore fans who pledged high amounts of money want to create something that doesn't fit in the game and into the art direction of Obsidian.

@ Bland_Boy The American and Canadian mods are sleeping at the moment, I guess. So be patient.

I think sound and graphics should already be part of the basic version of the game. A stretch goal for better sound and graphics could be very misleading because people might think that the basic version is not complete in some way.

Welcome to all the new members of the Order! It's always good to have some new recruits hanging around. I think we should soon achieve 100 members which is in fact $800 for our cause!

The "1000 years later tech demo" is just great! I would be thrilled if a graphic style like that (fantasy for sure) could be implemented in PE.
