I actually "stole" the idea with the shirts from the "Order of the Goat" from the Broken Sword kickstarter. Not for free but you could buy it for a reasonable price (as add-on on kickstarter or after that in an online-store). -

Hey folks, I've uploaded the lettering of the Obsidian Order badge from Update #9 with transparent background (as gif), so you can just merge it with your currenct avatar here or on kickstarter if you like so with a picture editing program. Hm, perhaps there sould be some difference between ordinary magic stuff and legendary items with an own history and description. It clearly makes no sense for the latter but perhaps for the former? But in the end I have faith in Obsidian's art department that they will create superb legendary (and ordinary) items which will be a pleasure to where. But please take care that the items with the best stats also have the best look. I think the problem is bigger in most modern RPGs, MMOs and Action RPGs because of their loot system. There would be much less problems when legendary or even magical loot is extremly rare and it takes you some time to find a new item you could use. If there are only a limited amount of magical and legendary items the designesr can spend much more time on the details and make them really good looking. Witcher 1 and 2 are good examples for that because in these game there are extremly few armors and weapons but they all look gorgeous.

Crafting is nice, but there should be legendary items which cannot be matched by crafted items, don't you think? I also like the idea of sticking to items which you really like but you can't really avoid situations in which you find better loot (except you decide to abandon the looting of items at all) so once in a will the problem will occur.

Great proposal, I haven't thought about that yet. I'm also very frustrated in situations in which I have to choose between the look and the stats of items. Would be really interesting to hear the devs opinion on that topic.

To be clear: we're making a game in which story, setting (i.e. exploration of the setting), and tactical combat are emphasized in more-or-less equal measure. The options we're talking about are present so you can tune your particular flavor of gameplay elements, but we're not making a game for people who inherently dislike these gameplay elements. E.g. I enjoy some RTS games (especially historical ones). I am not particularly good at them. I really like the gameplay, but I have never been able to reach the level of being even moderately skilled at any of them. I like it when devs give me more forgiving gameplay options so my low-APM brain can complete the scenarios in a way that is still enjoyable and challenging for my skill level. I wouldn't understand the point in giving me options to skip or avoid the scenarios; I'm playing an RTS because I actually enjoy the mechanics. Sometimes i cant believe this guy is real. He speaks directly from my soul XD Go Mr.Sawyer Go! That's the satisfying result when real RPG fans develop RPGs and not some hired guns. CRPG games from CRPG gamers for CRPG gamers!

Haha, you're welcome. too late i already have, i am retiring from shield design, i would like to thank my fellow Knights and my mom, for their early support but we have progresed from those early days (was it realy only 10 days ago?) OMG, but it wasn't me who make you leave this field? Nice signature but the resolution could be much better. How did you edit the picture and how did you save it???

Stuff which "real" connection to the project - in-game art, models, sound, dialogues, story, engine, systems,..... Show us how the game really looks like and the pledges will rise.

You can download the artworks and modify them on your own (I could also deliver a PSD-file if requested) or you can send me a PM and will do the modifications for you (as hitherto). Out of interest, how do you pay then for Amazon.de and the likes? I pay mostly per direct debit at Amazon.de (but that's not possible for international payments for sure).
