  1. Same problem. Playing as a ranger. After Dyrford Village if my bear (and Itumaak too) is knocked down, Bonded Grief stays forever. Is there a way to ask developers directly to fix this bug in the nearest patch? I just don't want to start the game all over.
  2. You mean it is not optimized yet? Here is what I got from WL2 forums: "Mac system requirements are: Minimum: OS: Mac OSX 10.5 or higher Processor: 2.4GHz Intel Core i5 Memory: 4 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 300 Series or Radeon equivalent Hard Drive: 30 GB available space Recommended: OS: Mac OSX 10.5 or higher Processor: 2.66GHz Intel Core i7 Memory: 4 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 400 Series or Radeon equivalent Hard Drive: 30 GB available space"
  3. Got it, thanks. I probably should register on WL2 forums and ask beta-testing folks about their experience with iMac.
  4. Hey guys! Planning to purchase an iMac 2013 and wonder will the cheapest version (with Iris integrated graphics) run PoE smoothly, or do I need to buy the one with GT 750M? Won't be playing games except WL2, PoE and TToN, but I want to make sure those three run perfectly.
  5. He actually worked both on FO2 and PST (as a lead). And now he works on W2 and PE. I don`t get that point. If I like PE, I will definitely back PE2 (or any other game by Obsidian) on KS and most likely will pledge much more than I did first time. I just won`t ask questions about how are they spending their money (maybe to "cover for loses" or to start 2 projects simultaneously, or just to make the game bigger) Who cares about alternatives for the top price segment? I just want to play games that I want to play and currently I don`t see such games on the market (stopped playing after PST), KS gives me such opportunity. Really simple as that.
  6. Showing the matching (in terms of graphics quality) environmental video will definitely increase rush.
  7. Of course, it's the performance gestalt that's the key. Example: Recorded telephony narration, like an operator, is often done with a real voice--synthetic voices are extremely off-putting. Makes you cringe. But haven't you noticed how jarring a full sentence of that pre-recorded human voice narration is? It's easy for the human ear to pick up the "unnaturalness" of this sort of thing even despite the "real" recording of individual elements. Performance with live instrumentation has specific imperfections and transitional characteristics that carry genuine immersive and emotive presence. A swelling high note with a scratch on a fiddle, like a broken voice, can carry quite a lot of emotive punch right there. A very slightly off-tune or off-beat instrumentation in a tavern means the players are having fun and are probably as drunk as their clientèle. It's much more "present." P.S.: I'm not saying that synthetically composed music is bad or far inferior, of course--I do enjoy it. I'm just saying merely recorded individual notes is not the same as a live performance either. +1 Music is all about phrasing, which is opposite to playing separate notes.
  8. OK, now, I`ve pledged $8 and want to be the "Low End of the Obsidian Order"
  9. Trying to figure what I want to up my pledge.)) I`ve never seen strategy guides before, BTW, do they usually contain NPC`s and monster`s stats? Also thinking about becoming a Low End of the Obsidian Order. ))
  10. Yo-Yo Ma`s Ensemble sounds great (as always), so I`m all in favour of something like that in PE soundtrack!
  11. I`m definitely for an orchestral score, since music in KS video and examples above sound too generic for me. They could cut costs by recording a russian orchestra (I know, since I study in Moscow Conservatory Music College). Quality is good and cost is a waaaaaaay less. )) These guys, for example:
  12. Agreed with complaints about 1C-Softclub localizations in Russia. Unfortunately, they are the most developed publishers on Russian market, so Obsidian is going to pick them anyway, I suppose. In that case, I hope they will fulfill their promise to be really strict and demanding with publisher. And please, let them translate just text (no voiceovers, Subs for vids) and make sure there is a possibility to choose language on Steam. Thanks.
  13. So, I`d better leave them a message via kickstarter then. And also, are there any russian translators on this forum who have already contacted dev?
  14. @norolim Are you planning to participate in translation into Polish? Have you contacted devs on that matter? Asking, `cause I`d like to participate in translation into Russian (even as a volunteer), but don`t know where to start. Thanks.
  15. Moscow, Russia. Good to see home people here! What region have you guys chose?
