  1. They got rid of the backer NPC icon Hopefully they give them some ambient VO or something too. Also right click move now functions the same as left click move as requested, much more useful when navigating the map.
  2. Male and Female Dwarf heads have been significantly improved. Elves definitely need another pass though, same with female Fire Godlike heads.
  3. This one is probably bleedingly obvious, but Male Orlan Head 2 is now missing, and IIRC there used to be more heads - probably being re-done.
  4. It was like that in v333, there's a Talent that makes it damage Vessels. I am not sure if Humanoids are considered Vessels or not, but for the purposes of this spell, they appear to be.
  5. Four legged creatures also can't fly, but that's a common mistake with fantasy dragons
  6. My frame rate is even worse than before though. Seems to get progressively worse every few patches

Christmas Patch is out Only got to play for 5 mins because I have stuff to do today (will play more tonight) but initial very quickfire thoughts are new Pale Elf Portrait is cool Character sheet is much better Talent UI and Skills UI is much better Inventory has finally improved a bit The same chick noticeably did all of the female voice sets BB Characters all have different class builds now and new gear New monk unarmed animations are pretty cool, only got to see a couple New targeting art for movement and in combat is a lot better than before, glad they went back to the four triangles and the Engagement UI art is actually fine, it's just a thicker circle Medreth's group has been changed again, new gear - actually drop all of their stuff now although I may have ran into a loot bug dicked the lot of them with Priest's Holy Radiance lol
  8. Stuck in a validating loop, on my 5th go now. I could try deleting the data and re-downloading it I guess. Worked after the 5th validate.

  10. Easier modding (like a custom UI) would be way more feasible.
  11. If you're just making code changes, there must be a better way of doing it than re-compiling the whole build for 5 hours.

  13. Modding is either done via code injection at runtime, or editing the code in an IL (which is fine for small changes, nasty for big ones) and recompiling the dll (which is basically instant). Doesn't have anything to do with making a build in Unity.

  17. What I meant by that was that Matt wanted percentile armor rather than integer armor. I don't mind the change tbh and Icewind Dale 1 and 2 had integer DR.
  18. What? They will probably just drop the ranges a bit. 1H weapons were meant to have their damage ranges increased so that they actually beat 2H for dps vs light armor, we'll know if that has happened when we see the values.

  20. I have nothing against integer reduction, I just think it can be a bit strange when bonus damage is handled in percentages. Will require some weird damage values for weapons/spells to be balanced properly. If damage was being handled in integers (+1 damage etc) then there wouldn't be a problem, and it would also be a lot more intuitive.
