  1. @DreamingVoid - awesome! internet-high-five! the newest book isn't out yet though, is it? looking forward to it very much! Loved the Reality Dysfunction /WebHi5 It's been out for a weak or two I think, I know for sure it's on the shelves in the bookshop I use for all my sci-fi and fantasy needs. And yeah, the Nights Dawn Trilogy was utterly fantastic, so many emotions going through your head when you it.
  2. DreamingVoid? A fan of Peter F. Hamilton are you?? Aye, huge fan of Mr Hamilton's work. Got every book he has written. Well, almost.. Haven't bought Great North Road yet, but I plan to correct that error. Today.
  3. Just upped my pledge, great to be here! I'd like the title: Dwarven Defender of the Obsidian Order
  4. I like this idea, especially weather effects/impacts. If they decide to add a stealth system, which I think they will considering they want to have tactical combat, I think it would be appropriate if weather plays a role in how stealth works. For example, it should be easier to pick off sentries on a dark and rainy night rather than, say, broad daylight. Generally, just sneaking about should be easier at night than day. And while we're on the subject, it would be neat if thunder had some funtion, like, you can shoot a sentry without the risk of their garbled last cries reaching out to their friends.
  5. I say give Justin a chance to make a name for himself instead of sticking with the already established big shots out there.
  6. Sure, why not? I'm usually against the introduction of firearms in an already established IP, but for a complete new one I'm all for it.
  7. I really like the idea that humans are the ones in decline, or even extinct, maybe they dabled a bit too much into magic that was not meant for them and some deity took great offense in it, and as a result it corrupted their souls, and now all that's left are ancient ruins and terrible beings crawling around in the depths of the earth. Yeah, I don't know, just making stuff up as I go. And it would be nice to see humans in a brighter light other than the usual; "humans are everywhere and supress all other races" we've been seeing in a lot of RPG's. Maybe they should be the ancient race of powerful heroes who took it upon themselves to protect the younger races from the evils of the world. Anyway, I would really like to see the humans being the underdog in this game, it would make for a welcoming change.
