Dear folks, I just can't seem to shut up about Killzone: Mercenary. The best handheld fps ever made, period. -Top notch graphics, not just for a handheld -Great selection of weapons and gadgets -Awesome gunplay and weapon handling -Missions that you can approach in a variety of ways -Great sound -Brilliant music -A well written, mature story -Superb menu design, presentation and cinematics -replay value Multiplayer is great but I couldn't always find players but on the plus side, all Killzone games allow you to play the MP with bots and Killzone: Mercenary is no exception. PlayStation Vita was an awesome handheld(and it still is, believe me) and Sony basically killed it by cutting off first party support for no good reason. It still gets decent indie games and cross-platform games though(Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Attack on Titan, Dragon Quest Builders etc. ) I hope Sony is secretly working on a PS Vita 2 or something like that.

Beyond Good & Evil 2
An MMO without s subscription fee with a focus on single-player and co-op? Could be something like Destiny or WoW. I wouldn't mind that if they make something similar to The Secret World but with better combat(obviously). Imagine a big world where you can tackle quests alone or with a friend. That's what my inner guts tell me when I watch those videos and they usually don't lie...usually. It's interesting but I don't know how they are going to achieve something like that without procedural generation and washed up fetch quests. Maybe they can, the writing in The Secret World was pretty good but the combat was awful...that and you didn't have spaceships that could fly from one fully explorable planet to the next.

On paper, this sounds even more ambitious than No Man's Sky or Star Citizen! Previous videos posted: E3 2017 Trailer First in-engine gameplay footage.

Steam, Playstaion Network and other digital distribution platforms...
Yes, it's still the same deal. Though nowadays you pay 59.99 instead of 49.99. PS Plus is mandatory if you want to play online games on the PS4 but it's still free on the PS3. The games they offer for free aren't always hot either, sometimes they offer indie games such as Broken Age or Rocket League, other times they might offer AAA titles such as Transformers Devastation, Killing Floor 2 and such. The deals were obviously a whole lot more appealing during the PS3 era since there were more AAA games and less shovelware indie titles. Don't know anything about that, I mostly use PSN for gaming. Movies are a different story but I can imagine that Sony's streaming services for movies can't be any better than PS Now. Agreed, that's a greedy move by Sony especially since most of the freebies nowadays are indie games and let's face it: some of them aren't good! Still, PSN offers great deals from time to time, even if you don't have Plus. I bought both Zone of Enders games for the PS3 for 15 bucks a few days ago. They won't, and they shouldn't(if they are smart). Why on earth would they help Xbox/Steam sell more games?! They are competitors. They would rather attract a new customer to their own user-base.

Steam, Playstaion Network and other digital distribution platforms...
Believe it or not, the most fair and user-friendly platform so far has been PlayStation Network and I've been using it for the past 9 years. It has its share of stupid flaws(You can never change the region of your account or your username and lets not forget about that hack...) but at the end of the day it is a whole lot easier to use PSN over any other digital platform. Buy pre-paid card, charge your account, buy the game, download, play. Sony also has one major winning card: Exclusives!

Steam, Playstaion Network and other digital distribution platforms...
One feature Steam has that most others don't is the community. There are groups, achievements, trading cards(which aren't the same anymore), Steam greenlight(which isn't what most people thought it would be but hey...) and Steam Workshop(which is a great idea that has its own share of flaws in execution). I don't know how good GOG Galaxy works but one reason it was introduced was that it wanted to attract people that are into community features. I am not sure if you can do both 100% DRM free and the 'optional client' thing at the same time. Steam will remain dominant because people have gotten used to it. It is sad because Valve makes a whole lot of money and it spends it on Steam OS, Big Picture Mode, Steam Controller and Steam machines instead of spending it on game compatibility issues and a sequel to Half-Life 2.

Steam, Playstaion Network and other digital distribution platforms...
Yeah, that is something I always wonder. There are a whole lot of games on steam that get abandoned by the developers and when a new operating system hits the stores people will see compatibility issues and games that don't run unless you fiddle with them with patches, mods and tools which is bothersome. GOG for some reason doesn't suffer from this problem. Their games work 99% of the times right out of the box.

Steam, Playstaion Network and other digital distribution platforms...
I was wondering which one has a stronger user-base and is likely to die last in your opinion. I use Steam, PlayStation Network and nintendo.com to buy/play the games I want. Now I came across certain things in the past which made me wonder if there is any platform of choice at all. Take Titanfall 2 for instance: you can play them on all 3 major platforms(PC, Xbox, PlayStation) but if you want a slice of the multiplayer you have much better luck at finding a match in PSN but good luck with that on steam... But then there are oldies, classics and indies such as Blood, Turok, Underrail, Tyranny, System Shock Enhanced, Planescape: Torment, Baldurs Gate and other games that are mostly exclusive to PC(Steam, GOG, Origin etc.). The way I see it, there really isn't a platform of choice if you are interested in most games like I am. Others might narrow their choices to only one platform because of preference, work, lack of time, family... But what I want to know is whether these platforms can always co-exist like this and what will happen if someday one of them bites the dust?! What will become of people and the games they have purchased?! P.S: Sony recently decided to block cross-platform play with Xbox One and Switch.

I couldn't agree more, reminds me of that one time during mothers day where a forced video compilation of 'good moms' was shown to me. I read the comment section and the first comment? 'Click the like button if your mom wasn't a tattooed freak.' ... People just hate stuff as if their life depended on it.

Turok: Dinosaur Hunter(Steam) I remember playing the censored German version of the game on the N64. Human enemies were replaced by robots and even some of the levels were designed a bit differently(lol...why?!). Playing the original version with unlocked fps and fov on the PC is quite a blast. Also, playing Turok with mouse and keyboard makes you feel like a ninja whereas the N64 controller made the game feel like a goddamn survival horror.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
I am looking forward to it. Anyone who has played the recent Rayman: Origins or Rayman: Legends knows that Michel Ancel still hasn't lost his touch.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
