You get some decent story once you start doing the main quests but those can be pretty annoying if you haven't leveled up your character. The combat system in AC: Origins is a complete failure.

Heard something about 'limited timed events and hunts' which is pretty stupid for a single-player game but everything else looks ok.

I bought the deluxe edition of FFXV for the PS4 since it had a separate disc that contained the Kings Glaive movie. Haven't played it yet and LadyCrimson sure is tempting me to buy the Royal Edition for the PS4 and place it next to the deluxe edition. Also, I have about 84 PS4 games and something around 70 PS3 games(not counting my digital purchases). Should I stop now?! Not buying anymore games this month tho, my cats need food...Katphood!

That's cool. Bought the game a while ago and I'll be playing it once I'm done with Fallout 4.

If that's the one from the early 2000's ... this is generally how I feel about 98% of Ben Affleck movies. He has such a bland presence, for me. Although Morgan Freeman is always nice to see. Yeah, it's that one. There was also a video game adaptation of the movie which didn't fare any better.

Finished the hacking simulation quest in Far Harbor...my GOD was that dreadful and unnecessary.

Back to playing a little bit of Sunset Overdrive.

Chapter 4 was freakin' magical!

I had to quit Assassin's Creed: Origins after 12 hours or so because the hand to hand combat is clunky and the boss fight with the hyena character really annoyed the hell out of me.

Tried watching The Sum of All Fears but got bored after 20 minutes. :/

I agree with you on Pharod and Anna, that moment near the Pillar of Skulls was truly a gut-wrenching moment. I personally couldn't connect much to Dak'kon since his pain was...not really *known* to me.

That word scares me.

The upgraded Xbox One X bc version looks better in some scenes. That was awesome. Didn't that guy used to have another channel called SinglePlayerGamer?!

I wish there were more games like the original TW game. It wasn't 'open world' but each chapter had an interesting story to tell and the side-quests and the character were mostly connected to each other. This made the world feel a whole lot more alive compared to TW3. Playing TW2 for the first time is going to be interesting. I have it on Steam so one of these days I'm gonna give it a go.

Their reputation wasn't really all that bad before this System Shock thing. They re-released a whole lot of oldie goldies that I dearly missed and they all work great on Windows 10.

My impression was that the other signs are only useful in the higher difficulty settings. I used Igni at the beginning of the game(normal difficulty) but later on, during some of the more challenging encounters of the game I had to use Quen. Alchemy on the the other hand was never used unless the quest forced me to do so. I remember using Cat Eye a lot more in The Witcher 1. I still haven't played 2 which is stupid...just 1 and 3.

I used Quen for the most part. Yrden can also come in handy if you're dealing with specters and such.

I bought the PSone versions of Chrono Trigger and FFVI from the PSN. I heard some complaints about those versions as well but at least they are closer to the original games. Still haven't played any of them though. EDIT: Why not!

True. I mean I loved Arcanum but the plot was basically: I guess the passing of time has made it more challenging to come up with something original.
