I wish there were more games like the original TW game. It wasn't 'open world' but each chapter had an interesting story to tell and the side-quests and the character were mostly connected to each other. This made the world feel a whole lot more alive compared to TW3.
Playing TW2 for the first time is going to be interesting. I have it on Steam so one of these days I'm gonna give it a go.
Their reputation wasn't really all that bad before this System Shock thing. They re-released a whole lot of oldie goldies that I dearly missed and they all work great on Windows 10.
My impression was that the other signs are only useful in the higher difficulty settings. I used Igni at the beginning of the game(normal difficulty) but later on, during some of the more challenging encounters of the game I had to use Quen. Alchemy on the the other hand was never used unless the quest forced me to do so. I remember using Cat Eye a lot more in The Witcher 1.
I still haven't played 2 which is stupid...just 1 and 3.
I bought the PSone versions of Chrono Trigger and FFVI from the PSN. I heard some complaints about those versions as well but at least they are closer to the original games. Still haven't played any of them though.
EDIT:
Why not!
Did anybody ever visit the London Trocadero back in the 90's(I don't know how the place looks like nowadays)?
It had a floor full of arcade machines. The few times I visited that place it felt like outer space! It even had VR:

Fallout 4
I am starting to like Far Harbor. The place is more fun to explore compared to the commonwealth.
Kind of wish I had Longfellow with me when that happened but you can't have 2 followers and I heard that Nick Valentine is the most interesting companion to have around in Far Harbor. Any suggestions for Fallout 4: Nuka World? Who should I take with me?
Longfellow maybe?!
I still love the original Half-Life because it had a pretty dark story and setting. Half-Life 2 was a great follow up but my brain simply cannot compute WHY Valve decided not to wrap up things with Episode 3!
In Portal 2 they even made an Easter Egg about their own failures regarding Episode 3:
Shame.
The only chance Valve have at redeeming themselves right now is...
*drum roll*
Portal 3!
That way they could somehow fix things by explaining certain story elements from the view of Apreture Science.
Wildly popular, extremely profitable, and immensely overrated?
If you change each of those adjectives to their opposite, you'll have the perfect description for Fallout: Van Buren.
HL3 died when Marc Laidlaw leaked the story online. There is also Ted Beckman who left Valve for Arkane Studios.
If HL3 is ever released it will be the Fallout 3 of the Half-Life universe.
This looks sweet:
