With all due respect, IGN and Gamespot don't seem to know that. Unless I missed something. One was to discuss it, which was highjacked. This one was asking the devs their thoughts. I was hoping to see if they thought this might be something that would be fun to develop for or if they look at it as a joke. Or in between. Then this became the old thread because you guys carried the arguement into this one.

Look, just trying to point out that, to my understanding, they can't make another Far Cry, but the engine demo looked like a next gen Far Cry. Sure, that prolly means nothing other than they played to their strengths/what they are famous for, but it sparked my curiosity as to what their plans might be. It's prolly just that, a demo. I wouldn't mind another shooter set in paradise tho. Their last one wasn't, to my knowledge, used in anything else. Unfortunatly. Seems a couple of good engines, a la Silent Storms, are not really getting any "play", besides internally. It's all Source or UR3.
